Naanu .. the Cupid !

I wanted to write a thread on Nanu since he saw Abir in the fire scene and guessed his love .

When they brought Nanu in this show I thought he will be the usual elderly character designated to sitting in the background and giving expressions like many shows have.

Kudos to RS and the creatives to have moulded his character to be a confident for Abir, partner in crime with khoslu and even an understanding Father who is well aware of the shortcomings of his Daughter.

Thanks for giving us his scenes. They are a treat to watch !

I agree. Nanu has defied all the norms of what an ITV elder comprises of being. He is totally understanding of the emotions of the family members and yet doesn't impose his authority. He is inspiring! I think Nanu deserves a separate AT!

Today's Nanu's scene was really good

The way he explained parul that she is also a member of family and has right to say her point of view was awesome

Meenu is daughter and parul I think daughter in law, and parul has contributed a large part of herself to keep the family one

Nanu's character demands maturity and it comes when needed

Nanu is amazing ...not the usual elder of the family who sticks to traditional norms and other family fear him

I really appreciate how he tries to keep up with today's generation...yo nanu

The advice he Gave to Parul was amazing...past should be remembered for strength not for weakness 👍🏼

Nanu is another well written character . And he is so entertaining to watch!

Totally agree! He is very much in tune with today's generation. He doesn’t let the generation gap blur his perspective.

P.s. how do you know what advice Nanu gave to Parul lol? Dekha kya aaj ka epi? 🙈

Yes .. I watched the episode but did not include details for all those who are watching on TV .. I lack patience especially with that car scene involved .. so watched it first thing this morning 😆

I love the way Nanu is more progressive and cooler than most middle aged people in this show. A lot of real life elderly people are also becoming like that , I hope they get inspired by this show and help playing Cupid in their grandchildren’s life 👍🏼

Yes, he is inspiring when it comes to the way he handles things. He may not be extremely courageous like BP but he is very supportive and wise. In matters of maintaining authority, I feel he is a bit better off than BP since he doesn't force his orders on others. Nanu is very much aware of every member's freedom and he gives very valuable advice as well.
