June 27th: Rohit's OVER active imagination

I'm just thankful the strangling scene was just one of Rohit's many random over active daydreams😆

This guy thinks Sonakshi is melodramatic due to her profession but he seems to imagine up more kooky stuff ever since he's met her.....lol kabhi he imagines he's strangling her in frustration....kabhi he imagines one more melodramatic TV soap scene of Sonakshi trying to save her husband, this time with Rohit in a guest appearance of doctor saying "dawaa nahin DUA ki zaroorat hai"😆.

Sonakshi actually isn't as much of a Parvati bahu in real life.....case in point, her obsession over her pimples....lol or the way she happily basks in the attention and love of her fans when she was telling Rohit everything will be fine the moment her fans see her.....lol....she wears the air of a star for sure😆

Beyond that, Sonakshi also defies the expectation that TV actresses are not very intelligent....everyone automatically judged her as shallow but she managed to prep for the event in a short time span just by going over the notes provided to her. What people probably didn't account for was the fact that she's used to mugging up lines and information as an actor since she has to memorize and enact pages and pages of dialogues every day.....that needs a good memory.

Rohit was grudgingly impressed😆.....but he still couldn't help mouthing off a bitter taunt about how they should just hire her for the hospital directly since she knows so much about the new heart surgery technique and can apparently perform an operation too😆

Rohit's mom continues to show how loving and open minded she is.....so it seems she will likely shower a lot of affection on Sonakshi as a bahu in the family. Rohit's dad does seem to hold a lot of sway over him.....I'd be intrigued to see why.

Precap shows Rohit-Sonakshi once again bickering once she finds out that he was the rude doctor who insulted her.....lol I just found it funny that she revealed in the middle of a speech that a doctor from the same hospital insulted her....so random.

Anyways, this visual from the precap was cute....Sonakshi enjoying the fact that Rohit has to escort her in like a gentleman😆

Waise I thought this event was only for an hour, no? But Sonakshi is already doing two outfit changes?😆

I just came across this BTS video now.....seems like Sonakshi's past will continue to haunt her.....I thought her ex-boyfriend was out of her life now but it seems he still comes back to harass her.

And his name seems to be Karan.....lol

Sonakshi would probably have slapped him with a lawsuit had he manhandled her in the middle of a hospital lobby in real life😆all the real life manhandling in ITV happens in private only lol

LOL I can't tell if she was trolling Rohit there with the "I'm very popular" line or she genuinely is so immersed in universal appreciation from her fans that she basks in it easily😆. Based on how she reacts when any fan accosts her, I feel it's more the case that she's just become so used to the fawning over her by default now that she does wear it easily.....lol

Re: last line.....The show seems to want to stay in a bit of a sitcom comedy mode, hence the somewhat exaggerated reactions with comic bg score by Sonakshi or Rohit I guess.....but I agree, I wish they would cut it down a bit too.....seems a bit trying too hard. The situational, natural comedy suits Sonakshi-Rohit's interactions more.

I have to add that it somewhat humanizes both Rohit and Sonakshi that they aren't being presented as some kind of model ideals.

Both of them have a healthy amount of ego over the positions they are at....while Rohit is arrogant about his stature and knowledge as a doctor, Sonakshi isn't exactly modest about her stardom either.....lol yes, she is willing to take an auto somewhere if needed but at the same time, she quite enjoys her popularity and the fawning from the fans too.

I think that's why they clash so much....both of them are strong personalities and both of them have enough ego to feel slighted if the other disses them even in the slightest.....lol

I really liked today’s episode.

This Sippys seem like a normal family (at least now). Everybody seems like each other genuinely. It was good to see Rohit listening to his dad despite the unexplained tension. The moms dialogue is setting up the mood for when her dil comes home.

I love Sonakshi character arc. She seems like a confident woman who is nice but street smart too!

Robots imagination was hilarious. He seems to be the drama queen!

Overall so far all the episodes have been entertaining without being ott. Also a few small missteps is ok as long as the story makes sense.

Enjoying this show as for now. Story, presentation, acting etc. most of the things in the show are good at the moment( silently hoping for them to remain same through out, though I know it is just a wishful thinking).

P.S. - Sona took the medicine prescribed by him😆 & how he looked at her when reporter asked her about pimple. I wish Sona had given an answer for that question though:) It would have been fun to watch as Rohit was also there.

I’m liking Sonakshi so far too. Her self confidence is a nice change for FLs on TV...she handles situations diplomatically without cowing down in most cases. What’s interesting is the fact that she doesn’t have low self esteem despite her mother always putting down her TV actress career.

I’ve also noticed that Sonakshi changes depending on the people she is around. She is more herself, more normal and simple when she’s just around her makeup/hair etc people, but the moment she runs into fans or outside event people, she takes on her star persona.

Re: Sippys...yes, I’m still amazed that we are seeing a family that genuinely has affection for each other despite varying personalities and careers. Was very refreshing to see Veena value the career of the BIL’s girlfriend too. They are a true cosmopolitan family and that is unheard of on desi TV. Lol

Haha Sonakshi really enjoys getting one up on Rohit. Her smug face is hilarious😂. They really are like bickering kids. I’m intrigued to see this scene tomorrow when Rohit has to play “gentleman” with Sonakshi. Lol

Waise have you noticed how neither of them use each other’s name even though they know what they are? Lol he always calls her “Parvati” in sarcasm to reference the TV persona he hates and she always calls him “Doctor surgeon” even though he asked her to call him Rohit. Lol
