“Time to go in for the kill”-RB

One of RB men handed him a file with details about Anu’s personal life. He smiled like the cat that got the cream and said it was “time to go in for the kill.”

There is a saying “when someone shows you who they are the first time believe it”. There was a reason RB’s underhanded tactics as a corporate raider were shown- buy stock, weaken the business and buy it for cheap.

He was shown instigating labor leaders to turn against management. His approach to business is one of entitlement to take what he wants by hook or by crook. We’ve seen no proof that he has run his business in an honorable way. Moloy has a history with him.

Wouldn’t be a far stretch given his tactics to set Anu up to to take the fall for his own actions if the end game would be to get Anu out of the picture and force Pre’s hand in agreeing to his deal to save Anu from arson charges.

When takeovers go his way it sure would boost RB’s ego to up the ante and go for the bigger fish. This time around it’s a war on Anu both on business and personal fronts as a favor to Komo to some extent. A win is likely to make him over confident. That’s when things have a way of catching a “winner” off guard.

Will Pre decide that it would be easier to take RB down from within? With Mohini telling her in no uncertain terms Pre will never be Basu bahu and Veena asking her to consider walking away from Anu bec of the hell Mohini could create in her life post-marriage will this give Pre’s reason to enter the enemy camp and save Anu?

Pre has since his name was mentioned referred to RB as a dark shadow. That opinion given his ruthless moves recently are not likely to change any time soon. Even if he starts to mellow a little, Pre ought to remember that “a leopard never changes its spots”. RB’s ruthless side will always be simmering below the surface. Winning in business can feed the need “to go in for the kill” and that power with every takeover can be a drug to keep at it.

RB may couch his underhandedness as an “offer” to Pre to save Anu and move in/marry him. Will circumstances force Pre to “make a deal with the devil” to save Basus and sacrifice her own happiness? With Mohini holding Pre’s “feet to the fire” she may feel cornered into believing this as her best recourse. Why do the leading characters go solo just when they need to get help in dealing with major problems?

Will Anu/AnuPam team up with or without Nivi to play their own game to trip up RB just when he is distracted by Pre?

RB has his Achilles heel, his vulnerability that could take him down a few pegs. But for now we don’t see a father anywhere near his little girl Sneha. Instead he’s seen focused on “going in for the kill”.

Very good post I must say. I only watch Bajaj parts and your description made the picture even clear.

Please try not to take my comments as a Bajaj biased fan but rather someone who has a neutral view.

By today's episode it's made evident to all of the viewers that Mr Bajaj is a SHARK. Like you said he gets what he wants by hook or by crook. And that is what Businessmen should be. You can't be a businessman who doesn't know how to kill/ruin others to make your profit. If you have to remain on top, you have to bring others down, be it from personal front or from professional front. And Bajaj is doing and will do exactly that way.

Moloy and he does have a past and that past is the reason why Bajaj is Bajaj today. Bajaj gave away his trade secrets saying add everything to stake make the opponent feel scared instead. Anurag needs to learn these tactics from Bajaj if he wants to have a fair fight with him. Anurag's inexperience is what Bajaj hankers on and that puts him in a win in win situation.

Coming to BAJAJ's personal life, he isn't a man who mixes his private and professional life at all. He keeps his private life under wraps. Being Sneha's daddymight give us another picture of Bajaj but that is limited to Sneha only. He doesn't exposes his weakness and that is his biggest strength.

Anurag has to learn a lot from Bajaj. A lot. If and only if he wants a fair deal.

As per prerna its her decision to take when she bas BAJAJ's past exposed in front of her. Will it make her fall in love with him or makes her hate him more, its her decision to take. For now she needs to be strong enough to back out from a marriage that gives her and her family nothing but tears and humiliation.

not sure about bajaj keeping personal and professional separate. this vendetta against basu's seems personal.

Also, lets not glorify men who run business like a shark. There are businessmen and then their are businessmen. Big empires do not necessarily need one to be unethical and need stamping over others. It is the person's own values that dictate how to rise and the values shown definitely don't impress.

No different than the British who played divide and rule and ruled us for decades.

why not? What Pepsi and CocaCola/ Kingfisher / Adidas / Puma or even Adani and Ambani / etc do is justified but not Bajaj Because he is here to separate a favourite couple?? This isnt right at all. 😳

Also i never knew businessmen followed ethics or were even honest 🤣 Because no businessman is ever honest or even ethical. You can't survive in a competitive market with eithics and honesty. Sad but that's how things work. Even running a small shop requires you to be unethical and be dishonest to make profits. 😆and here its Ekta's business world. 😆

Added : you said no difference between British. It was East India Company who only saw profit and did what it felt was correct and later on after a few centuries the British Empire took over. Bajaj too is a businessman. He is exactly doing what good Businessmen are supposed to do. 😆 now if Anurag can't face him it's his fault and his father's not BAJAJ's 😆

again it all boils down to ethics and values. Would a man who builds his empire by squashing people of their livelihood live with himself? If he can, he is vile and can do that to anybody. Would I want a man like this in my life? NO. because a man like this has no soul. This is his core value and today it is strangers and next is will be people who love him. As the obsession to win takes over everything else.

A highly successful businessman does not equate to a good human being. Depends on who one wants in their life. Money or values??

Just saw the movie Bazaar with saif. Bajaj is like main character Shakun in that movie whose wife finally left him as she could not live with an unscrupulous man however rich he was.

and why is that a favorite couple?? we had no favorites when the show started. A person like me had no past viewing history with the leads or was their fan.

It is because however weak you label them, they are still pure hearted. I am convinced of their love for each other and want it to win. want them to fight their battles and win. It keeps your belief in love alive. If one moves on, it makes one cynical and most of the Anupre fans rooting for them in the forum, just believe in their love and good old fashioned romance.
