we walked together hand in hand the rain seeping deep in soil for an hour now . 3AM , my watch read , as I smiled foolishly . “ rohit its quite late…..” I reminded him . He shook his head lazily for a minute and then denied . “why ?” I posed a question . “It has just started sona….Its not going to be late …not till we die…”. I stopped for a moment , PROMISES…. , I have a very bad experience with them. “ sonakshi , everything’s fine ?” he asked me waving his hand on my blank face. a lone tear escaped my eye . “I love you rohit ….” I cried , unabashedly . “let me be your past , present and future sona…” rohit embraced me in a hug , and I smiled. this has never happened , nobody had ever known me like that . Even before I spoke ,he knew my heart . I guess this is the first and last time I have fallen in love with a person and not with the idea of it.
A heart which is mine , but beats under his ribs.
A breathe which is mine , but fills up his lungs
and suddenly I believed him , and his promises.
