Ranveer star power mostly seem to be overhyped because of PR. Yes, he got some recent hits and I'm not denying that he's a crowd puller. But even John, Tiger(and now Shahid) can give a bigger or same level opening like him with right padding. So is that really star power? Gully Boy and Simmba open at same around 20 Crores, but Simmba goes on to earn 100 Crore more than Gully Boy. Uri opens at 8 Crores but gets a bigger lifetime than Simmba. These things show how much movies are dependent on WOM in case of "youngsters". RK and RS might have got wider audience with their films grossing big numbers, but when it comes to loyal fan following, they don't really have it much.

But the distance isn't huge because RK, RS and likes don't have big ATBB in their kitty compared to Khans.
