I find the so-called white characters hypocritical and possessed by the God-complex. They do not interest me a bit. 🥱 Grey ones, on the other hand, command greater pull and their transition to either darker or lighter shades of grey, along with the conflicting emotions leads to a great story-telling if handled well.

Well, grey is a term which people use for slightly edgy human beings. I prefer to call them Humans. Humans are above the 'Ms. Goody Two Shoes' portrayed in Hindi TV shows. Any character who is layered is always appreciated simply because it teases your brain. You tend to think about them, their actions, thoughts reflections. They compel you to invest your time and brain cells. And when you think about someone, you automatically trigger chemical reactions in your brain which transcends into involvement.

Humans are fascinating, so are their emotions. There is no right or wrong. There's nothing ideal. Everything is subjective.
