Ruhaan's friendship

Seriously am I the only one who thinks that Ruhaan never considered Veer to his best friend. Since the beginning I always felt this distance from Ruhaan to Veer. Even tho Veer calls Ruhaan his close friend there is not a single thing that shows that they are close in anyway. If they both were close, Ruhaan as a best friend would have never try to be with Misti as it would seem very wrong to do what he did to your own best friend. To me it always felt like Ruhaan cared for Veer just because he helped him in some ways but other then that they are far distance with each other. Same goes to Veer, he would rather talk to Arnav then his own "best friend" Ruhaan. Ruhaan and Veer seemed more like a close acquaintance then close friends really.

Ruhan isnt great friend and he does realize he has been wrong unlike veer who thought Ruhan could kidnap and cast doubts on him .

So yeah both arent very close friends

Veer pehle ruhaan ko apna dost samjhata that when he fight for ruhaan on mishty birthday party and even ask ruhaan to come and stay in his house when mishty accuse ruhaan for ansh smoking

Ab veer ruhaan ko apna dost nahi maanta jub se use mishty aur ruhaan ko saath dekha now two friends turn foe

If ruhaan doesnt think then he wont to go to police station and help him....he wont take care of him....n few incidents are there ......if veer is pushing ruhaan far means whatelse ruhaan can do...if we compare ruhaan and veer,ruhaan is far better

I think what Veer says and what he feels are 2 different things. He has always been OTT when it comes to proclaiming friendship. Best friend, bhai jaisa, RSVP on wedding card etc. But we have seen his behaviour post breakup. He and his family doesn’t give a damn about Ruhaan. They are not close enough to be best friends.

Which friend would give such a reaction when they hear their friend missing/ think he has kidnapped his ex or show disinterest when he is shot.

I don’t think Ruhaan is close to Veer either. I think Veer s family may have invited him over sometimes to their house when they were young. Or shown some care of him sometime and he feels gratitude just because he is an orphan.

The way Veer s mother washed his hands off Ruhaan saying I don’t care about him just shows Ruhaan never mattered much to them . He was certainly not bête jaisa.

If they were really close friends, veer wouldn't ask ruhaan to stay as a PG in the first place. Instead he would ask him to stay along with him in his house. They seem more like acquaintance and not friends, forgot best friends. Veer stood for ruhaan on Mishti's birthday only because his ego is hurt by his then fiancee.

Yes ruhaan does not veer as his best friend. Because that he come to know that mishty( not pari) is fiance of veer not ( in one of episode ruhaan mistook pari as fiancee of veer when both pari and mishty dancing in bachelor party) he would have tell veer that about mishty and not hide from veer

Suppose if ruhaan was fiancee of mishty and mishty keep saying she love him and one fine day mishty said to ruhaan I can't marry u and one fine day ruhaan see mishty and veer together

Would ruhaan tolerate such thing. Would ruhaan reacted so calmly?

I am sure ruhaan would have reacted aggresively in same way like veer reacted

Veer will not congratulate seeing mishty and ruhaan together saying though mishty rejected me but I am happy to c u both together

And why should veer happy to c both together

Veer has no clue that Ruhaan and Mishty are dating , so how is it related to this convo.

He did see them talking together but when Arnav confirmed Pari is in love with Ruhaan he was sure it is not Ruhaan in Mishti s life. So his pathetic behaviour with his “friend” Ruhaan shows he is no friend.

I think their friendship is in words more than action. Like both of them say that they are best friends or like brother’s but don’t act like it. Or I guess love is a much stronger emotion than friendship . Hence Ruhaan choose love over friendship.
