Chunky Panday's daughter, Ananya Panday made a smashing entry in Bollywood with her debut film Student Of The Year 2. The diva not only received critical acclaims for her performance but also garnered a strong fan base. And daddy Chunky is on cloud nine at the moment.
As we all know, Ananya chose her Bollywood career over her studies and reportedly she isn't regretting letting go off her academics for making it big in showbiz.
Speaking about her decisions, Ananya had earlier said, "I was all set to go to college, I was going to USC to study but I wanted to give it one shot before I left so I went and auditioned for the film. And luckily, I got it. This a dream come true."
Recently, Ananya was in the news for faking acceptance into US universities. Shedding light on the same, her father Chunky has now said that he wasn't aware of the social media buzz around his daughter's education. He told IANS, "Ananya is a great student, but right now her focus is on films."
Chunky added, "Yes, she got into two universities, but did not go because she got the film... I don't think she will be going to university now. She will be working in Bollywood. I am so proud of her. She performed well. I was scared if she would be able to perform well or not... But she did a good job. I am happy about her achievement. She is an intelligent person. She has a long journey ahead."
Even before her debut film could release, Ananya bagged her second opposite Bhumi Pednekar and Kartik Aaryan. The trio will be seen in the remake of Pati, Patni Aur Woh.
