Prachi’s priorities

What struck me about Prachi these days is that this girl is beginning to show more grit and determination than people (both in the show and outside it) were giving her credit for. Prachi Milind Misra is a totally different woman from Prachi Shah.

Prachi Shah was willing to sacrifice her childhood sweetheart both for his sake as well as to fulfill her promise to her father to keep Ayesha happy. If Ayesha's happiness lay in seeing her unhappy she was willing to take whatever steps to ensure that including sacrificing Neev. She had also done it to protect him from Ayesha's wrath.

After her marriage to Milsi, Prachi's life has completely transformed. What initially started of as a marriage of convenience for him and compulsion for her has turned into a relationship she now worships. Her feelings for Milsi had turned from awe (when she saw him in Trukey), to gratitude (when he bought back the SM for her), to fear (during the near rape scene), to a deep seated love (on realisation of his tender child like heart).

It is this feeling of love, bordering on worship, which gave her the courage to face anything (including being humiliated and abused both verbally and physically by her husband) if it meant protecting his interests as well as his family's interests. She has totally blended her life with his and cannot think of herself away from him even for a moment. Till date the maximum number of days she has been away from him has been less than three and on both the occassions she left him, she did so quite unwillingly.

Now when his emotional state is on a delicate balance, she is willing to forego her rights as his wife and is more than happy to serve him as his maid. That does not mean that she will give her place to his former lover who had willingly ditched him to further her own revenge agenda. She has made it quite plain to her that she cannot be a sacrificing queen any more when it comes to her husband Mr.Milind Misra, who was, is and will always remain hers and hers alone even if he does not acknowledge it right now. This is one person, this is one relationship she will not sacrifice for anybody. Her promise to her father is nowhere compared to her promise to Milsi to accept him and be with him for seven lives, a promise she took (with a broken heart) at the time of her marriage. That promise means thousand times more now that she is totally and irrevocably in love with her husband.

This woman means business and she makes sure that everyone better take her vows seriously. So when PL tried to coax her to eat on the KC night with Milsi nowhere in sight, she put her foot down and refused to take a morsel till he arrived. When Dadi dissuaded her from keeping the Teej vrath, saying Milsi does not care for their relationship, she told her in no uncertain terms that what mattered to her was that SHE cared about the relationship enough to keep it for him. When Neev tried to intervene in her problems with Milsi in their initial months of marriage, she ticked him off saying that she does not want a third person to intervene in her marriage. More recently, when he instigated her to fight both Ayesha and Milsi, she made it clear that she will bear any amount of pain for Milsi not because she is forced to but because she loves him and will willingly bear anything for his well being.

It is this deep love which has strengthened her resolve to win back Milsi fair and square and not through some strange coincidences (the only way WWW can hope to win him back). She exhibits more faith in her relationship with Milsi than any of her other relationships, even though it is one of the newest. I hope after all this they dont go about ruining the sanctity and purity of this relationship. In this battle of Good Versus Evil, please give Good a chance to win over Evil, dear creatives. You will have the eternal gratitude of the loyal Michians.

opti beautifully written ....and agree i am loving this prachi mishra the only good thing in this creepy track...that gal has grit.....the best was her dialogues to neev when she said in no uncertain term which was answering a long debated question of prachi obliged to milsi as his wife....she simply put forward the truth how much she loves milind ...and yesterday when she went to ayesha and told her that her and milsi relationship is not abt coincidence ..the hindi or rather urdu words were beautiful....good dialogue....she very firmly and calmly told ayesha that the mangalsutra will be around her neck when milind will put it willingly.....besides her eyes too show how much she loves him ...honestly i had dreaded on seeing a never ending cry baby prachi but this lady has suprised me...i never thought she will stand against ayesha..hopefully nagpal keeps the beauty of michi intact..i do not want to let go of them 😭

Candy you can think what you want about Prachi and honestly I dont think Prachi needs to prove her love for Milsi to anyone. She has done enough of proving so far. If at all I am more fearful for Milsi's chastity these days. There is no knowing what that deranged character will come up with and the guy is still walking as if he is in a stupor.

As to her lying and hiding things, I don't think Milsi is no descendant of Harichandra either. After all he is still hiding the truth from Saket and had no intention of telling him anything even before the accident. Whatever lies she told Milsi was to save him from heartbreak over his sister. Her intentions may be good but the way she went about it was not something people may agree with.

As far as her love for Milsi goes, there can be no lie about it. If she has been telling Milsi she loves him and behind his back has been shown to be plotting his downfall I can understand what you are saying. But I think she has professed her love for him more to those around her- to Neev, to Ayesha, to Dadi, to PL, to Baba, to Suki, to Alaap- and more importantly, when Milsi was not around so you cannot accuse her of trying to impress him.

Her profession of love has not stopped with just words. She has followed it up with her actions. A woman who has borne everything from a near rape, to physical and mental abuse, to public humiliation in a court house, all for the sake of her husband, does not deserve to be doubted. Why, even Milsi was ashamed of himself for questioning her integrity. So it matters little if a few like you continue to doubt her. That will not reduce the power of her love or the sincerity of her intentions.

It's been a while since I watched this show as everything about it is irritating and the lead pair isn't cutting it for me anymore! But I happened to catch the last bit of yesterday's episode and was pleased and surprised to see something that actually made sense for the first time....in any BT show!

Prachi approaches Ayesha with the mangalsutra...I thought she was going to give it to her at first! But she told her something that I liked very much.....she said she didn't want the mangalsutra through coincidence or 'chamtkar' by god. She'd want it when it is Milind's 'marji' even before god's own.

I have no idea why she said all this....didn't bother to watch the replay but thought it was a good line...for once!
