Varun’s Action Movie with Shashank No Longer Happening

2nd movie for Varun and Shashank to be placed on the back burner by Dharma. First was Ranbhoomi.

I had totally forgotten about this one 😂. Varun is finishing Street Dancer and then doing Coolie remake with his dad. So clearly this wasn’t going to happen for a while now. I’m sure if his next two movies make money this movie will be back on track.

I’m sure Varun won’t be hurting for work. But I am curious how this has changed his equation with KJo? Or Shashank’s equation with KJo? Specially since this is their second movie KJo has nixed.

Why is there no news about Takht? Hope it got shelved as well.

Kalank flopping affected kjo and Varun the most it seem. Varun need to prove that he can carry big budget movies on his shoulder... I won't he surprised if Takht also get shelved because Kjo could not get someone to finance the movie.

I am surprised as well. I thought atleast some media outlet would run a story on Takht after Veer announced he is going to start Jordaar in October but there is pin drop silence except for a tweet by KRK. Intriguing.

Rahul and his reliable Dharma sources want us to know it is tentatively postponed but is it really? I read a Bizasia article that Kjo went to NY to get funding for Takht...something tells me it did not work out.
