Mishti is and will always be better than Kunal because she didn't cheat. She openly talked to Veer & broke it off

But other than that she is doing everything Kunal did - getting lost in Ruhaan's thought, being oblivious to what's happening for her one honest mistake & roaming around and romancing.

The writer has very conveniently reversed the gender & chose an actor who can't evoke emotion like Aditi did.

Have read post like for Veer she is a part of his world but Ruhaan treats her like a princess & how adorable that is. 🤮🤮🤮

Mind it Nandu did the same thing. She worshipped Kunal while Mauli, even after loving Kunal, had her own identity. At that time, Kunal was termed as chauvanist & Nandu as a vibrator and what not. But now simply by reversing the gender they have solved it all.

Such hypocrisy!!! 🤮🤮🤮

The characters were never the writer's headache. All he had to do was to prove Sab Ke Sab Jaye Bhad Mein, Mujhe Baas Hug Aur Kiss Karna Hain & gain audience's support.

So far they have done that brilliantly. 👏👏👏

Nandu was vibrator is proven by given scenes and that's the fact . People got license to call her vibrator because she was shivering ,crying and vibrating in every next scene with a dialogue "Humne kuch bhi jaan buj kar nai kiya" .I mean plz give us break you did sex with your best friend's husband in all your senses , You are going on dates with bff's husband and romancing with him in all public events in all your senses still claiming "humne kuch jaan buj kar nai kiya "and then cry cry shiver shiver . If this was the scene then why to blame audience???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a hypocrisy🤢

Bottom line is Nandu was third class eshaan faramosh woman " jisne apna gudda tut gaya to kisi or ka le liya .Apne liye dusra dhudhne ki mehnat bhi nai ki.Yeh bhi nai socha ki woh kisi ka basa basaya ghar tha. aisa to bacche karte hai " this was mauli's words for nandini which was very very true . That besharam woman went to ask mauli "Kya tum sahi mai pregnant ho" . Aisie ghatiya besharmi or ehsaan faramoshi wale words bol kar bhi , hypocrisy jaise words audience ko sunne ko mil rahe hai waaah👏👏

Identity was never issue in between misveer. Incompatibility was the main issue which was there in their relationship since day 1 as per pari's words and that's why she never find it right to stay in such relationship.

Mauli was far a head from kunal and nandini when it comes to professional life because one was jobless and other was busy in cooking kheer. Definitely mauli was more career oriented than her jobless husband who was busy with romancing mistress in the love nest in place of chasing his dream to make his own clinic. Society called nandini mistress because she turned her house into love nest and become home wrecker .Audience called kunal male chauvanist because he started to spend nights with his mistress in love nest by giving reasons like loneliness because of busy working wife.

Identity and career can be issue in between maunal because kunal forgot his goal of making his own clinic but mauli didn't and was working hard to fulfill it for kunal.

In misveer case there was not about lonely mishti and busy veer case.

I loved Mauli in Season 1 and hated KuNan. Aditi's Mauli is the best thing that ever happened to the show. I began watching Season 2 regularly for Mauli's daughter, and Tejaswi n Kunal.

But then things took a turn. I began liking Pari more (though now she has been turned into a dumbass). But even then, for long, I refrained from criticizing Mishti, bcoz like you said - she is FAR better than Kunal. She had her moments of dilemma n inner conflict. She accepted her feelings n broke up. My respect goes out to Mishti as she didnt exactly "cheat", as in, two-time with both men like Kunal did with Mauli n Nandini. Moreover, MishVeer were not married. My consideration for her is there so far.

But beyond that, MisHaan make me uncomfortable. Like really, really uncomfortable. Contrary to what I have read in this forum, it is NOT true that some of us dont appreciate MisHaan bcoz this time a woman is making a strong choice. I, for one, am completely in support of women taking charge of their lives. Sacrificing, abla naaries are passe now. This is the age of modern women who live life on their own terms, and I am glad, TV heroines are transforming in that direction.

My concern is, whenever I watch the show, only one thought bothers me...What if my fiance had done the same to me? What if he breaks up 1 month before our wedding bcoz he has suddenly fallen in love with my bestfriend (of all people)? Especially, when I have given everything that I could to make him happy? Would I be able to take the rejection as lightly as I expect Veer to? Would I not consider it cheating?

I personally would. Even if they "officially" start their relationship only post disclosing the truth to me, I would still never forgive my fiance n bestfriend for the same reason I never liked KuNan (marriage or no marriage). I may not avenge them like TV serial vamps 😆, but would completely cut them off from my life.

Now, if MishVeer had never had anything between them or if Veer was abusive/negative, then MisHaan would have been perfectly justifiable. But since that is not the case, it is hard for me personally to root for them. But yeah, that is my POV. Others may disagree.

From what I see, 3 factors helped the CVs immensely to establish MisHaan's popularity. First, Veer's poor acting (by Rohan). Perhaps they had chosen a lesser actor deliberately this time, seeing what a wonderful actor (like Aditi) can do to the viewers. Second, more popular n capable actors with sizzling chemistry as MisHaan. And third, of course, the gender reversal (as you mentioned).

You know i can completely understand where you are coming from. I am also highly uncomfortable about this concept of falling for another person when in relaltionship, even though i know these things happen in real life. I knida agree with if not tejnal it would have been extremely difficult to accpet mishaan. I never thought that someone like me could root for them. But they potrayed mishaan so beautifully , they bring forth their emotions so beautifully. And i could feel every thing they are going through. Seeing them together felt that these are two right people who belong together met at wrong time.

@bold - Thanks for your honesty.😊

Even I feel the same for TejNaal. I was excited for them too, when I saw their initial scenes together. The pool side where they met (and fought) for the first time is pure magic, followed by their confrontation at MishVeer engagement. Moreover, I loved the initial detached Ruhaan - the one who didnt give a damn about anything around. But I expected the story to go in a different direction. I just didnt like the way it unfolded.

I know, the story has some amount of realism in it. In today's time, there are many MishVeers n MisHaans struggling with their emotions and relationships, and the makers are probably only trying to depict that. But somehow, I didnt like the treatment by the writers.

In this front, I'd prefer Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain, where the writing was a bit more seasoned.

Agree with everything you said, especially the bold part. It's the same with me. TejNal are the only reason I could relate to MisHaan...

However their scenes lately aren't going anywhere, making me skip the episodes like today. It's stuck in a place where we just want the stroy to move forward even if it's a separation. As too much of touchy, sugary romance is getting repetitive , boring for me in fact... The story getting dragging isn't helping either. Even TejNal aren't able to make me sit back and watch.

The actor who plays Arnav to me comes across flat just like Veer. I understand why Mishti broke off with Veer, she has a backbone for doing so, but I don't care for Mishaan either.

Can I be really honest? The show is boring and so is the characters.

Very well said!! i think after the first season, I should have given up hope but alas!!, its the same old story.

Going in I knew this was about Mishaan, but they just do not click with me even with the whole chemistry. I am all for Mishty taking charge of her life and breaking her marriage once she realized that she is not that vested in her relationship as a marriage demands or requires. But where it all stops for me, is her jumping into another relationship so soon and that too with her fiancee best friend especially because of her past. Mishty is a girl from a broken marriage where her father left her mother, for her best friend. This fact alone should play her huge role in her life and all her relationship but its does not even factor anywhere in her whole relationship with Ruhaan. If this was about making her understand Kunal and his decisions, then where is the guilt, the self-loathsomeness that she is doing exactly what her father has done. Where is anger, self-restraint that her actions are making her Kunal's daughter rather than Ishaan's? For this reason only, she should hate herself and in turn Ruhaan whose very existence is making her go that path. Where is that journey? Like someone said, even though Mishaan chemistry is great, this couple just make me cringe. I just do not see any sense in that relationship, there is no substance. I can understand attraction but love between them at this point is something I just cannot grasp.

I was so excited to see Pari and Ruhaan relationship, where the two broken souls connect even if its just platonic, where each heal the other for the past and the present. Where he recognizes her insecurities and she, his unsaid need for companionship But they just made her into this pathetic third wheel who is no longer needed on the show. I really like her, she was one character that I could connect to and one relationship that I was excited to see but now they have sacrificed her too

Well, in the end they just made this into the typical Hindi drama with emphasis only on romance and romance.

Have you even read my post or just jumped in to defend MishAan???

I have commented myself that Mishti is and will always be thousand times better than her Juzzbati birth father. But one good act is not enough to cover up your other blunders.

My sole point was, makers have tactfully reversed all the factors which had earned them the wrath of the viewers last time. Here Mishti is a so called strong girl who took charges in her hands.

I am all for women empowerment and taking charge. But faking it in front of another decent guy for almost one year and then saying I was suffocated - that is the trademark of Kunal - BIT GAYI TO BAAT GAYI

You can't just use her parents' broken marriage as an excuse. Even Pari suffered the worst of it, learning about her parents' karname from the society at an young age. I know right now her character is intolerable but she still managed her life better than Mishti. She shielded herself from love, didn't change her identity and faked to be someone else to please another person and didn't include two families along with it.

But these things can never be grasped by a few because Mishti is played by Teju and Veer is played by Rohan.

If MishVeer were in dating phase and Mishti noticed that Veer didn't like the way she was - this step would make me proud of her. But changing herself on her own wish and then blaming it on Veer - that is the limit of superficiality and I will stand by my word that.

You can agree to disagree or simply ignore my post. Because I for one don't call it empowerment when the whole series of events were done keeping your own comfort above and then disregarding it for a better option.

Mishti didn’t blame Veer for anything. She admitted her faults to him. That what she mistook as love wAs not love . It was her mistake and she took all the blame herself. When did she blame Veer?

She didn’t blame anyone for changing her nature to adjust to Veer and family either. It was Pari who told her she didn’t like this aspect of Mishti.
