But Sr. Raizada already had an extra marital affair, and may even had more for all we know. It must have been easy to trap a vulnerable Payal, who was already collecting pieces of her broken heart.

🤣🤣🤣

Have to give it to your unbelievably imaginative mind!!!

I agree with all your comments Sandy. Khushi is digging her own grave. And I loved what you said about Arnav - "For a guy who already has trust issues, this would break him and in turn, he is going to break her".

Khushi is not right in what she's doing, but I think I understand where she's coming from.

Vini - Aise kaise chod de baap ko? Meri nazar mein everyone is a suspect 🤓

Sandy - My imagination has no limitations when it comes to speculations😃

Kavi - Maaf kardo, but couldn't help it 😆

The first time I read the chapter, I felt a vague irritation, an unease with the way Khushi was handling the whole thing. Thought I should give it another read and then try to make sense of what she is doing.

The second time around had me actually getting more than a little angry with her. On one hand, she has decided she is 'in love' with Arnav. She grants him liberties she hasn't granted any other person for so long. If the timely interruption from Manjunath hadn't come about when it did, she would have gone along with Arnav, her mind unable to overrule her body. Even when Arnav came back, she chose to pretend to be asleep rather than let him know that she wasn't ready. Her pretense is getting a little bothersome. I feel like her being the way she is, she is in for a complete heartbreak. And she would have no one but herself to blame for it.

I couldn't believe she yet again went being Arnav's back and spoke to Rakesh. How could she?! Hadn't she decided she loved Arnav? Then shouldn't she either chose to believe in Arnav blindly or speak to him clearly? It's as though she needs affirmation that she did indeed pick a good person and the affirmation should come from the creepy gang. Why didn't she tell Rakesh that she knew people who knew Arnav personally and they vouch for him? She could have; should have taken the high-road, haina?

I cringe when I think about how Arnav would feel when he comes to know that Khushi had been making inquiries behind his back. For a guy who already has trust issues, this would break him and in turn, he is going to break her. I see heartbreak all around, Kavi 😒

But I'll assuage myself by saying that things have to get worse before they can get better.

Take a bow, Kavi! Amazing character development. I love the way you laid the foundations bit by bit in every chapter.

Sandy, I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt. This has been a challenging time for her in many ways. After her father's death, she moves to Bangalore, probably starts to see things from her father's side, she is badly torn between her parents, guilt that she had not been there for her father going only by her mother's side of things. A sister she missed getting close with, who's death she does not know anything about. Her mother seems completely clueless about anything to do with Payal and if asked starts off on a rant about her husband. What ever that she has come know about her sister has been from the folk she thinks were her close friends, whom she had known as her friends all those years ago. Her motive behind moving to Udupi was to find out the truth behind her sister's death. She didn't expect to meet Arnav and fall in love with him. She also didn't expect to hear another version of events from Manav. Whenever she has tried to speak up to Arnav she has had her mouth shut! There is no doubt that she needs to talk to Arnav and I hope she gets the opportunity to do so, without letting anything else come in the way. They both come from dysfunctional backgrounds, they have issues arising from it. They will have to take a leap of faith with each other. They both have given the other liberties which they have not to anyone else. I still find it strange that her name would not have triggered any memories in his mind of a girl he had met all those years ago, if it has not.

I don't see her meeting anyone as going behind Arnav's bak. The truth is that they are not really in a formal relationship. They have been very close where folk are looking upon them as a couple. But they both have not really had a conversation about it. She is unsure what her life is going to be like, now that everybody seems to be going off, including Arnav. And she has been battling guilt about diverging from her reason for coming down to Udupi. Her acknowledgment to herself that she is in love, does not mean she gives up on her desire to find closure about her sister's life and death. Just that her feelings complicates things. But goes without saying that she needs to talk to Arnav since he is also a factor in this story. She has heard so many versions from different sides, even to a small extent Payal's through her notes. He deserves to be heard too.

This is getting more and more intriguing! There is obviously some bad blood between Arnav and Rakesh, something went down between them all those years ago. Could it have been anything to do with Payal?

I hope Khushi keeps her faith with Arnav. She's seen Payal's notes, and they tie in with what Manav told her about Payal's history with Arnav. She should come clean with Arnav about who she is, and clear any doubts she has regarding his involvement. Maybe together they can get to the bottom of the mystery that is Payal's death...

P, I still see it as a betrayal of sorts. Even if not as a boyfriend, as a friend you build a certain amount of trust and this is breaking Arnavs trust. In my books, it is going behind someone's back anytime you discuss something about the said person with another. And being in love should actually make one angry on the loved one's behalf. But she sat and listened to Rakesh and did not try to explain why it couldn't be Arnav. She has met his ex-girlfriend after all and has it on good authority that he was never interested in Payal that way.

Having said that, I do see why she is that way. As I said in reply to Gauri, I get her character. It is the way she is due to whatever reasons. If she wasn't this way, we wouldn't have an interesting story to read. 😊
