Ash- Vivek and Ash-Salman situation is not comparable..

I doubt Salman would want to call attention to the fact that he once dated Ash who was then allegedly beaten by him and ultimately dumped him..

On the other hand, Vivek would not mind people discussing that Ash dumped him after he so called stood up for her and of course made a fool of himself in the process...
