After the debacle of Karan Johar’s most ambitious project, ‘Kalank’, all eyes were on his next film, ‘Student Of The Year 2’ which introduced two new faces – Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria along with Tiger Shroff. Although the film received mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike, it reportedly did not create the intended magic at the box-office. Recently, the producer took to his social media handles to update his followers with the total box-office collection of the film. However, he ended up being totally trolled by the social media users. After sharing the box-office number of the film, he went on to call the film a “hit” and that seemed to have not gone down well with the netizens. They trolled him for projecting wrong image in minds on the people.

On the work front, Karan Johar is all geared up to don the director’s hat once again with his upcoming magnum opus, ‘Takht’. The film boasts of an ensemble star cast which includes, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
