I wonder how he will even think of confessing to Mishti in such a situation, when he hasn't even done so to himself yet.

Is it a little misleading, and is actually only indicating that Abir realizes his feelings and stops himself, or are we supposed to understand that Abir overlooks the fact that Mishti is intended for Kunal, and decides to confess anyway, but is stopped by something dramatic (like either Mishti or Kunal being interested in the other or deciding to get engaged)??
