Shamefully predictable

I predicted when Pragya got the catering job that like usual it would be used as a way to again humiliate either Prachi or Pragya in the party as this is usual stuff in Indian serials where they show the female lead doing a menial job under the rich male lead just so she can be treated like crap, but then I thought that may not happen this time considering they already did it with Prachi in Rhea’s Birthday party, but nope. Ekta outdid herself by once again showing her middle class female lead doing a small job serving under the rich male lead only to be humiliated, as the catering job was used as a way to humiliate Prachi. Ekta is consistent if not original.

This is another reason why I have issue to Pragya not being shown post 20 years leap with a better career. Because I knew as usual like in all shows they don’t want to show their female leads progress professionally and always remain below the typical rich male lead to be vulnerable to humiliation by his family whenever these serial writers lose their ability to think of an idea to fill up the telecast time.

Gosh how I wish they could have shown her as a businesswoman or a manager in a company and Abhi could come across her that way.

I agree. Am hoping it's someone's imagination but it doesn't look like it could be. They could just have found another way to bring Abhi-Pragya together without tying them to the kids to start with. This is a rude shock, honestly. I thought the ugliness was behind us. But apparently not. Ugh.

Instead of assuming this post leap version as a continuation one must look at it as a new story with the same leads .

This is the only way a professor can end up doing mineal jobs.

Pragya could have simply opened a small school or joined the media n become a powerful woman .

Unfortunately ,this channel n ph duo are showing otherwise.

Not used to such pathetic thought process .Hence not watching .

The preleap characterisation wasn't that bad .But I guess the next gen will be shown to progressively come up in life as a strong chr.

Like other fans have said on social media, It's insulting to see another female lead doing a menial job when she's so well educated, and that too a college professor and not just merely a teacher.

I do think the characterisations of the new gen are actually surprisingly a little better than I thought. When prachi was introduced I was so disappointed to see that she's exactly like pragya, but in actual as the episodes have gone on, I do see elements of abhi in her too. She's sensitive, caring, simple, principled and a lecturer like her mother, but seems to have a little temperament like her father including being slightly gobby with the right amount of attitude with the people who deserve it, but unlike abhi whose rash and impulsive temperament has passed onto rhea is not there in prachi so much. I quite like prachi as she looks like a bechari like pragya, but actually knows how to show people their place, but I guess she's gone after both her parents in that department and to a certain extent better than her parents when dealing with gobby snobs like rhea and ranbir.

Rhea's characterisation is apt for someone raised by a father like abhi and influenced by an aunty like aliya, although I was shocked at how cruel she can be in terms of that accident and her attitude towards it. That was pure aliya. She's a lot like aliya, but also like her father in that behind the hard exterior is a sensitive person who hides their emotions. So I would say both girls have gone after the people they have been nurtured by.

Ranbir is just pure irritating. Could they not find anyone better or at least characterise him better? He just seems like a wannabe abhi.

I'm just so annoyed at how sunny has not been shown or mentioned. When on earth will sunny, his mother disha and kiara be shown? This new gen doesn't interest me as much as the sunny-disha-purab angle would.

Pragya is a highly qualified woman still she is doing this catering business...i am not saying there is anything bad about it but still what's the point of doing that when she can do better than this.

In precap Rhea was standing silently n Abhi was angry...lets see this time who is going to create a scene Abhi or Rhea

N plzz dont talk about that Rabir guy he is of no use , he is always in his Rhea bubble...I am missing Disha n sunny n can we please have sunny as the next male lead...he can be opposite Prachi na...i dont think he is that old to prachi n most importantly he isn't prachi's brother so plzz can cvs think about it coz i m not liking this Rabir guy

I have a feeling sunny will be paired opposite kiara when she and he both return in the show. Makes sense too as they're not brother and sister either but became best of friends. Gosh I miss sunny so much. He and kiara were two bundles of joy. But it would be weird to see sunny and kiara in the show too considering the current new gen actors already look ridiculously old to play children to the older gen actors of KKB, then sunny-kiara are about 7-8 years older than the current young gen actors, so they would have to hire even older looking actors to play sunny-kiara wouldn't they? Either way, my interest is in seeing disha-sunny back in the show and sunny's relationship change with purab considering his split from disha and marrying aliya. It is nonsense not to include disha and sunny.

Regarding casting i agree...the casting for new gen is horrible...i guess YHM had the best new gen casting , there ekta casted teenage actors here toh don't even ask...kiara n sunny ki casting ka bhagwaan hi maalik h🤪

Agreed on the YHM new gen casting. Looked far more believable.
