A source close to the development reveals how Salman is trying to resurrect Katrina’s career.

While there was a gap of five years between Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, the third film in the franchise will be made sooner, thanks to the ‘Tigress’ Katrina Kaif’s career, which needs a boost. A source close to the development says it’s Salman’s wish for Katrina’s career. “In recent times, nothing seems to work for Katrina except the Tiger series. Director Ali Abbas Zafar has been asked to work on an idea for Tiger 3. Ali is currently immersed in completing the post-production of Bharat. But work on Tiger 3 has already started,” says a source.

When contacted, director Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed that the scripting of the third Tiger film is in progress. It may be recalled that Kabir Khan directed the first film in the ongoing series while the second Tiger film was directed by Salman loyalist Ali Abbas Zafar. Now, with the third film in the series going Ali Abbas Zafar’s way, it looks like the two constant factors in the franchise, besides Salman, are Zafar and Kaif.

I wish it was directed by Kabir Khan. I like his direction better. Don’t remember Ali Zafar directions, but I loved ETH, NY, etc.

Finally kisi ne sachhai saaf shabdo mein keh di. Nothing seems to be working for Katrina other than her pairing with Salman in Tiger series. And people were saying she's back in the top league LOL

Ali Abbas Zafar is Kat's closest friend. I haven't seen her act so comfortable with any other person. She doesn't need Salman to do her bidding.

I only liked first film, Kabir's vision.
