Character changes

I think Durga was supposed to be a grey character who was changed to a full-blown negative character. She was supposed to change and be in favor of Guddan in the future, while Saru and Lakshmi would be against them as they both were lacking morals and principles unlike Durga. Lakshmi was a very cunning one and wanted control just like Durga and Saru but they turned her innocent and positive. Somewhere, Saru too was not that evil, they turned her into a thief and what not. Initially even sons got good scenes. Didn't we all think the same? CVs changed everything due to TRPs I think.

The changes are good. I think they are right move that Durga is now showing up as a evil person. Obviously that the whole forum can not watch and listen to Durga, it's a sign that the good decision was from CVS side.

Maybe good TRP wise but not story wise. It hurts the very premise of the show because Guddan is going through tough challenges and rough paths to be a good saas where the bahus are vamps and criminals who should be put behind bars. It doesn't make sense anymore with regards to the concept. Plus Durga's become very annoying to watch.

durga started off to be matured one but turned vamp ..

cv's ruined her character beyond repair ..

ant tv series starts with new thing but ends as bassi chawal🤯

The only sure thing in the Hindi series is that the story always changes. Whenever I start to watch a series, the story is interested in the beginning, then CVS breaks the story and becomes either a science fiction or Saas and Bahu drama. I know it's hard to watch Durga and listen to her nonsense. I guess something will change soon.

Hmm... Never thought that way... But initially after marriage I used to think that maybe Durga will help Guddan to be a good SaasuMa/Wife/Bahu because of her dialogues like: Tum jab bhi iss parivaar ke liye kuch accha karogi, mujhe apne aaath paogi...

Har serial ki yehi to kahani. Everything starts off on a new and unique concept and we get attracted but after a while, same old Rona dhona, saas bahu drama, misunderstandings and separation between couples bla bla

Durga's character took 180 degree turn. Parivar ke liye kuch bhi karne wali is now destroying that very parivar for her own selfish reasons.

The point for me is not that Durga was meant to be grey and suddenly turned black the point is that it needs to be justified and should have a base to it her actions need to have a reason and just saying she hates on Guddan for whatever reason and thus is doing all this is not enough!
