Change in character arc

Veer - For past few weeks writers have changed Veer's character to an understanding, loving, considerate fiance and friend. I always described him as dominant, I thought this trait of his personality affects everything he does, but lately he has submitted to Mishti's every demand, he has been understanding. This change is not drastic, it sits well with his character arc, he is afraid of losing Mishti, so following her orders like Mishti used to do it. He did not run away from the "Real Mishti", he has been there for her. The compatibility issues everyone pointed out, are being removed from his character, am I the only one who noticed this?

He is a better friend than a fiance, even though he practically endangered his life for Mishti, his actions reflect that he cares for Ruhaan deeply, Ruhaan behind Veer's back kisses his fiance, Veer behind Ruhaan's back, credits him for protecting Mishti. Today when Pari thanked Veer for bringing Mishti back, he told her that he just brought Mishti back, it was Ruhaan who protected her, this makes me angry at Ruhaan and Mishti.

Mishti - I thought they are going for compatibility issues in MishVeer, I liked when Mishti questioned her love for Veer in front of Su Bua, that was the correct direction as far as Mishti as a character was concerned, right now she is just treating Veer like a backup. She is happy with Veer, she is actively leading him on, giving him hopes, planning surprises for him. What I have noticed is that -

Mishti with Veer in front of Ruhaan - 😞😖😟😢😭

Mishti with Veer when Ruhaan is not around - 🤗 ☺

I am just hoping she breaks up with him before confessing her feelings for Ruhaan because if she is waiting for Ruhaan's "Yes" to break up then would she marry Veer, if Ruhaan says "No"?

Ruhaan - I liked him, I liked his clarity, he didn't do flip flop but today they just changed his character drastically. He had said that he will think about his love before Veer, I accepted this as his character.

"If I ignore my feelings for Mishti, it will be unfair to me"

"Mishti, please tell me that you love me"

"Palat Palat Palat"

"Mishti loves me"

After making sure that Mishti loves him, he is like "I can't do this to Veer"

Duuuudeee, what even? Now that he knows Mishti loves him, how exactly he is thinking about Veer by hiding it from him? The best thing Ruhaan can do for Veer is tell him the truth, why is he avoiding Mishti now? For who? It's not for Veer, his whole vision of Veer was about how HE has been a bad friend, so instead of taking his friend out of this mess, he is just putting Mishti and Veer both in a pit. Why Mishti? Because he can make it easy for her, it might be difficult for Mishti to tell Veer, because she is just so addicted to keeping that fake face in front of him, Ruhaan can actually come clean with Veer about this.

Pari - I didn't say it, but I am liking her for past few days, not her "I lub Ruhaan" Nautanki, Ruhaan is not a good guy for her, I don't think what she has for Ruhaan is love, it's not even infatuation, it's admiration. She lost her father, I am not saying Ruhaan is like her father but he has guided her like him, you know when you don't have a male influence in your life and someone comes who "ALL MALE", she admires that part of Ruhaan, I don't like how she is dealing with it though but I do like that she is working. I always wanted her to work and I am so glad she is handling everything and being praised by clients for her work. Pari's love for Mishti is beautiful, only if it wasn't an alarm for impending doom, I would have liked it. I still want Pari to leave Malhotra house and live in her house.

Note : Don't kill me for this but If there is Pari-Veer angle, I won't mind it, I am liking both of them as of now, just want a happy life for them.

Agree, Veer has been shown as nothing but loving and supportive to Mishti. Which ever girl gets veer will be very lucky, cos he is a keeper. Unfortunately for Mishti veer was just a stable option. As far as I can see her I love you to Veer was fake. Her surprises to veer and making veer feel like he is the most important person in her life all that was fake. If she was honest to herself and to veer she would have come clean with Veer during the birthday fiasco when she felt like a punishment spending the day with Veer, when she found veers touch disgusting. So to me it looks like Veer was mishti’s stableility in life option who would not ever leave her.

Now she realized she loves Ruhaan, does she break up with Veer - no. Is she really waiting to make sure that Ruhaan is a confirmed option before letting veer go? I find Mishti very selfish, really a character that I cannot like at all so far. I like how she is to her family but outside that I am not able to like her.

With Ruhaan I am happy with the growth in him, though I felt the change was a bit too sudden. I wanted to see this guilt from him for a long time. Happy to see this growth in ruhan. I really hope he stays away. Ruhaan could tell Veer that he wants to stay away from Mishti cos he has feelings for her but it is not his place to tell Veer abt Mishti. I think what he did today was something he should have done long ago. Better late than never. I just hope he stays away till break up is done then pick it up with Mishti or whatever.

Pari Veer I don’t know if I want that. I just would like to see Pari independent. There has been nothing much shown on Pari to even comment, she has completely disappeared from the story lol

Won't comment on others, I trust mishti she will break up soon. I am waiting for break up. about Ruhaan's filp flop he never left before or even think about veer because he just want to build memories of her not reciprocation. He didn't felt guilty toward veer till now because that only one side love. he knew that falling for her means betraying veer but like he said dost se dokha kar shakta hu par apne aap se nahi that why he never tried to control his feelings, he knew that what he feels for mishti is love from the day one so apne aap ko dokha deke suffer karake koyi fayada nahi tha but now he knows that mishti also love him realization shuck to his mind. he is not just betraying his friend by loving his would be wife but that can also cause heart break and suffer to his friend. He remember that his friend treated him well. He was clear that he would choose himself but when that moment came he got cold feet. He felt guilty which shows that even if he says by words that he is selfish, he really is not. He does love himself more, think about himself more but he won't be happy to breaking his friend. He just need time to realize that by doing that he is not doing anything right to veer, mishti and himself. Veer will never happy with mishti, when mishti loves him. yese tho nahi hai ke hum har baat jat se samjh jate hai, we need time to shot out our thoughts. He will back soon asap, after all he is majnu apne laila se kitne din dur rahega lol.

about veer and pari angle, I don't mind because veer is stable, nice human being, understanding, of cousre rich, family man. Everything that pari needed but problem yeh hai ke they don't love each other and i don't want anyone to compromise. What if shaadi ke baad Pari fall for someone else, or Veer can also fall for someone else. IF veer love mishti like he claims than maybe he won't able to forget about her won't that be unfair to pari? I just want Pari to became independent and veer also get his happy ending.

It’s too late for a decent breakup. Now when breakup happens, it’s more gonna look like she used him. She actually used him for perfect life dream.

It’s been over a month now since viewers are waiting for breakup. Birthday fiasco was the right time. Now mishti looks pathetic and selfish to the core.

[B] Veer is a very nice guy, no doubt a lot of girls prefer such kind of guys as their partners. But the problem with such guys is that to make them understand your feelings of joy and happiness, you need to voice the same. Look e. g he saw how Mishti left the restaurant even when she was the one who had planned the date he didn't even ask her the reason. No doubt he is caring enough that he came next day to check if she was okay but he still didn't ask her why she left. That obviously doesn't make him a bad guy but that makes him a bit ignorant. He imagined Veer saying he was pursuing his fiance behind his back not he has feelings for her. That's what understood from the scene. [/B]]

I don't mind selfishness, but being selfish doesn't equate to using people for your good, and even if someone is using people, just be upfront about it. I really dislike characters who say "Mai Ye nahi karna chahti thi" and do exactly this.

With Ruhaan, I can understand that he just had a glimpse of what it would be like when Veer blames him for breaking his relationship, but with his monolog, I thought he chose to let go of Veer for Mishti, what made him think that veer will appreciate Ruhaan kissing and flirting with his fiance? He always did it in front of him, now when knows Mishti loves him, he suddenly can't cheat Veer? He already did it, the best thing he can do is come clean to Veer about his kand.

Mishti is being very inconsiderate and insensitive when it comes to Veer, she still has that fake happy face around him, she doesn't love him, I can understand but can someone who claims to know what it feels like to be cheated on, that she saw her mom crying and dealing with the pain of her father's wrongdoings, be like this? It doesn't sit well with me.

I have tried understanding Ruhaan, I have an image of a character, I am picking up pieces and forming a picture of Ruhaan, suddenly that breaks and it's a completely different character, his monolog gave me a clear picture, today he was feeling guilty, if tomorrow he goes back to "I lub Mishti", it is just messing with his character.

I haven't thought about Veer and Pari angle, I don't have a story for them, I just said that I won't mind it

Just thinking will she tell him the truth? Or like Mauli, Veer will be left to blame himself or find fault in himself. Mishti is messing things up by leading him on, hope she gives him a reason of why Ruhaan and not him?

I have seen 24 hr break ups before too in the name of sacrifice and then back to square one.
