What I thought of todays Episode? Today I enjoyed the show not because of the Saas-Bahu Drama because of the character growth & changes I saw in Guddan Akshat Jindal and she applied what she learned in the past few months. She is not perfect but she is willingly to learn and correct her mistakes. As her journey progress through time she will keep learning from the situation and Saazish she or someone lands her in.
Background:
- When Guddan Gupta married Akshat Jindal she became his Patni. But along with being his Patni, she became Dadi’s Bahu, Guddan Ma of her stepsons Kishore &Vardan Jindal and Saasuma of 3 Dils.
- Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega is not only a love story about two individuals who are opposite in each other in views, age or have generation gap & how they become a perfect soul mate. This show is also about a Inexperience sometimes Immature, Impatient but Kind Hearted Sanskar Girl who understand ways of world, had no experience in knowing how Household is worked thanks to her Evil Stepmum. Its Guddan’s journey into becoming responsible, mature Woman who learns to mange her responsibilities & her husbands house, learns to adapt and to value time (Remember on AJ’s Bday she was late-Bahus were irked)and doesn’t take everything said to her as challenge to prove that Guddan Tumse Na Ho Pageya. Its slow burn, we learn about things through from our mistakes and improve so it doesn’t happen again.
- When a husband is his home or away from his home at work or on business trip, a wife responsibility is to manage and balance her work, her family & her house responsibilities. One of the major Irony is Guddan Akshat JIndal never had the proper training to manage her future “Ghar Garashthi” But as her Jindal Saabs wife, Saas & Bahu of Jindal Family she is learning to manage her Ghar Garashthi in her own unique way.

Day 1 Mango Competition: The purpose of the competition for Guddan is about fulfilling her husbands Promise and providing the 500 Orphan kids with Mango Milkshake in the Summer Heat.
Careful & Patience: In Friday episode: Guddan as Friend& Saas advice her Bahu/Friend peel the mangos carefully while relaxing its not about who will win or prove which Ideology is correct Dosti ya Strictness.
Indication she understands that a person who rushes to win the race: makes mistakes which doesn’t want her Bahu or herself to do. For her the competition is not about proving her point or winning the race to prove someone wrong. Her main focus and concern is helping her husband fulfill his promise, no matter who wins as long as the Mango Shake is made, she will be the winner either way.
Relaxing & Encouraging: Lakshmi Bahu was nervous & frustrated that the mangoes weren’t peeling and slipping from her hand. Guddan gave her water to drink.
Indication: Guddan told her teammate to relax and work carefully, this competition is not a race to win. A person who is slow, steady, relax, careful, has patience and takes time at their work makes no mistakes.
Solution: After Lakshmi Bahus hand go injured, Bua was sort of instigating &putting pressure on Guddan, to see what does she next! Does she give up & back out. Guddan patiently told Bua “Humare Haath Salmat Hai, Saas Banke Hum Ghulami Nahi Par Apni Bahu Ka Saath Dehge”
Indication: If a teammate or family member is unavailable to preform due to a problem to their injury or health, it doesnt mean that we should discourage, taunt or be angry at “our Apna”! Its about encouraging our Apna that they tried their best and not blaming them in their tough times. Its about being the answer to the problem not adding more problem to unsolved problem.
Inspecting the problem & finding answers: After trying and be unsuccessful at peeling mangoes, Guddan inspected the problem, saw that mangos had oil, she found a solution, used the solution, patiently continued to peeling and cutting the mangos. I felt that Guddan didnt suspect a foul play.
Indication First try your best, if you are unsuccessful find what you are doing wrong, always do inspection of your surrounding and tools available. If there is a problem with your ingredients or tools given to you try to find a different method to finish the task given to you. Even though it was hard & time consuming, Guddan didn’t complain or snitch, she washed the mangos, cleaned it and then peeled it. She knew her hard work will pay off via the smiles of the children who will drink her mango shake. Since the beginning Guddan Gupta and now Guddan Jinda always have the determination of trying her best and not giving up on the work assigned to her.
Having Faith: One thing in fulfilling a goal or wining a competition is always believing in yourself and having Faith that at the end “Sub Kuch Acha Hoga”. I was so proud of Guddan when she said “Sub Kuch Acha Hoga” slowly her confidence is going to return via her determination & the goals she sets not the challenge she once set upon her saying Guddan will prove everything Guddan Tumse Ho Payega & she will Proof others wrong and herself right. Request: Even though it was competition, blender didnt work. Guddan crossed her enemy line and requested n asked helped. In the begging Akshat Jindal always told Guddan if you cannot do something you can always ask for help. Today Guddan folded her hands, in front of Buaji said I am putting a White Flag, n without drawing putting my side of beliefs on hold, because my beliefs doesn’t matter, Respect & Promise of my Husband matters.
Indication: Today as Saas, Guddan showed her Bahus, that if you have a problem instead of panicking and giving up, ask a family member, even your opponent for your their help. As a person, you will not become small and your ego will not hurt, if you ask help or give someone help. Sometimes, to finish the a task, put your belief and ego aside for the Sake of your Family’s Reputation & Respect.
Stuck and Break: After Bua agreed, even her blender had problem, Durga got scolding, my heart got Sukoon. Anyways all the ladies gave up. Instead of thinking of finding an answer, GUddan chose to take a break and relax. Sometimes when you think very hard in finding a answer to your problems you will get no where, so it better to relax yourself in your favorite pastime or hobby, then come back when you find a idea.
Carrom Board this picture says a lot.
Carrom Board: CVs hats of to you man. Love the idea of Carrom Board, four different Jindal Ladies & Bahus from different background, status, generation, upbringing : Dadi, Durga, Lakshmi & Guddan coming all together and playing Carrom while trying to find an answer to their problem. North, South, East & West all are opposite but when they come together a compass is formed, North East, North West, South West, South East. North (Guddan) & South (Durga) never meet or join because both are opposite of the Equator, but East & West Dadi & Lakshmi & Even Saru can blend and adjust themselves with either North or South.
My wish is Guddan Akshat Jinda the Saas should realize that her POV cannot never meet with the POV of her Bahu because both are two different individual with different personality. She also needs to accept that Durga is Bitter Person in nature & personality who rather be negative in viewing things than finding out a light through a tuneless.
We use wood as pillar to make& build and secure the foundation of our house, so we can have a roof above our heads, doesn’t usually come from the same tree.
Similarly Saas, Devrani & Jehtani Background in upbringing, nature, education, generation age gap are all different but as time pass we learn to accept the Badlav, accept and adjust to the ways of your Sasural.
Whether you are Beti, Bahu, Wife, or Saas, as woman of your house its your responsibility of keeping your family together, despite their age difference, generation, POV of Life & Thought, its always a Woman’s responsibility to bind her family together with love, understanding, nurture while adjusting herself to time transaction.
Right now Saraswati Rahul Jindal doesnt know what to do, or whoses side she officially should join but right now she is observer.
Washing Machine & Be Yourself : 3 Bahus, Dadi and Bua was just shocked with Guddan Unique Juggad haha. Good to see a glimpse of Atrangi Guddan. I cannot wait to see the facial expression of OCD & Hygiene Baba when he learns that is wife made Mango Shake in the Washer Machine. Jindal Saabs expression will be a Kodak Moment & Priceless. At the end of the day, no matter how the big or small, rough and tough a problem or situation is BE YOURSELF. One major fact I love about Guddan is, that she always has a Smile on her face, no matter how Responsible, Mature she will be, she will be the Anmol Single Piece Guddan Akshat Jindal who uses Crooked ways and Roads to finish her Goals.
Further Binding Analysis
Today they showed Saas Bahu Drama and kitchen politics, usually I don’t like Saas Bahu Drama, i left all of * shows because of that & loud screaming.
Today Guddan Akshat Jindal applied all the qualities that she learned in the past 7 months of her marriage from all the situations she put herself in via challenges, her impulse behavior, or the trouble she landed herself in without inquiring about it. Half of the credit of Guddan’s change behavior & understanding, goes to her husband Akshat Jindal her pillar of her strength, who during or after each Kands or Festivals explained to her gently via his personal experience or his point of view using or giving examples that his wife would understand. As days turns into week, weeks turned into months, Guddan started better understanding, observing her family members and applying what her Jindal Saab taught her, from a immature Pagal Ladki she slowly became a Matured Respponsible Wife.
Bua :Through out the competition and after, was testing and observing her Khara Sona to see how she handles situation under pressure & stress. Bua purposely instigated, she purposely rushed & taunted Dayan to see how see how Guddan reacts but she was calm, careful, patience and continued her work taking time not forgetting her purpose.
When Guddan requested to Bua with folded hands and was willing to forfeit and step down from competition in order to make sure the Milkshake is done, she again won her heart. Even when Bua said that let’s celebrate my victory, Guddan was silent n didnt react because she understood what she has to do full fill her Goal.
Dayan Smirks: When Bua and Dayan shared a cunning smirk. I was like Dayan you just gave yourself away & I hope it used against you. I felt as Bahu, Dayan is getting trapped in Bua’s Jaal, even though Dayan is in her team, Bua is not on her side. Bua is on her Lalla’s Bahu & her Khara Sona’s Team. Dayan Tera Time Aayega aur Humein Bada Mazza Ayega! My wish is that before Bua leaves to America, Durga pretense of Sarvgunn Sampan, Ideal Bahu & Patni facade is dropped and her true Personality & nature is revealed to Guddan Akshat Jindal.
Dayan Praise: Even though it is in digestible, intolerable and she doesn’t deserve 1% or 1 cent of Guddan’s praise it was needed to show Dil Ka Saaf (Guddan) vs Kota Shika (Durga).
From my POV, Guddan praised Dayan genuinely to Bua saying she is Samjadhar. Bua was reading Guddan’s eyes, and knows well that she is not doing Natak, she means everything from bottom of her heart. a Saas she respects not only her Elders but her Youngsters her Bahus. Whereas Durga Jindal did Chugali & failed to show that she Respects the Saas-Bahu Rishta. Guddan showed as Saas she will praise Good Deeds of her Bahus & not take their share of credit.
What did Guddan Akshat Jindal Prove To Bua? Even though Guddan Akshat Jindal is inexperience, young, & have Naya Soch of Todays Time but she capable of being the Dhal-Pillar of Strength of her Husband & herFamily. No matter what the situation or problem arises Guddan Akshat Jindal as Patni of Jindal Saab, Saas & Bahu of Jindal Family will not back out, walk away, run away & give up without trying to finish or solve the Problem especially when reputation and respect of her husband and her family is at stake. Guddan proved to Bua via her verbal words and her actions, her patience, her determination, her sincerity, that if a problem arises during a crisis, she will support and be answer to a problem, rather than give up and not help at all. Even in the bad times Guddan Akshat Jindal as a Wife, Bahu, Saas will become the Strength & Backbone, & Motivator of her family, find a Light Through Tunnel.
