amazing post and this is the best thing i read in this thread - They are the true powerhouse couple in my opinion , roha truly are that couple for me too 😎

I love jasmin but I feel she is not good at these kind of mature and sad roles. Not putting her down but she is they best at clumsy and immature roles. I feel like jasmine is taking a little time in transitioning to her post leap character. Some actors like to experiment after leaps on how they want to carry their character forward. I think once she settles down on how she wants to portray happy post leap, her acting will get steadier. She did pretty well pre leap even in the emotional scenes. She's probably just getting a feel of her character.

I cannot understand why you are apologising, when I am only surprised that you managed to respond to my post. Medical students have an almost impossible work load, as I am well aware!

I have not.read this book or watched the serial, but I liked Mrs. Gaskell's gentle and appealing.Cranford. Besides, I would trust your judgement, so. I shall get hold of North and South at the earliest. As a printed book, not an e-book. I like the smell of leather binding and fine paper.

When I have read it, I will let you know how I liked it. I somehow doubt if I am.going to be here much longer, but I shall PM.you.

Once again, take care of yourself, and don't let the pressure of work affect your health. Sounds like "Physician, heal thyself!", doesn't it? 😉

It is early days yet with the acupuncture, but as it is a Tibetan medical centre, I was able to swap reminiscences of HH the Dalai Lama, with whom I had the great privilege of interacting frequently during my tenure as a division head at the Ministry of External Affairs 25 years ago, with the doctor.

Coming to the show, to be honest I can understand your POV. I would feel the same way if I had been watching this for my favourite actor after seeing their phenomenal performance in another show. I get it. All I can say is, maybe his character will get better as the show progresses but I think you realize it too that this is hollow hope. Wish you could have enjoyed the show as well.
As for me, I am wholeheartedly enjoying the story while it remains good (in my POV)

Also (since you loved pride and prejudice) have you read north and south by Elizabeth gaskell? There's a BBC series as well. If you haven't, I would recommend it.
The novel came out about 10-20 years after Pride And prejudice and Elizabeth gaskell was inspired by jane austin so there are similarities (the male protagonist blunders through the first proposal in this one too :P)

i bingewatched this show in 3 days this month only i had this show on my watchlist since i saw a clip of roha dancing on mere naam tu as i was busy with my work and damn damn this show exceeded my expectations the actors are too good and they are carrying this show very well i am loving all the characters but yes the ship i love is definitely roha for me and now about RV he is a grey shaded character he loves happy but its just a one sided love only and his truth coming out will bring roha more then closer and i think poor rocky has had enough i mean his badtameezi with happy have had a redemption for me ,have faced enough of his karma for doing wrong to happy in this way and happy was dull ,she wasnt happy i felt it when the post leap happy was shown she wasnt smiling at all its only rocky/shaan who makes the real happy comes out in all ways ,she felt rockys presence even before she saw shaan's face and RV ofcourse wil face the consequences i cannot wait how will shaan/rocky get the truth out and prove his innocence and roha have a magical chemistry ansh and jasmine have that IT factor for chemistry and about my thoughts for RV and happy i mean they are good but as friends i see no chemistry in them as that crazzy ,powerful and magic love that isee in roha i(no offence meant for there fans) but its also obviou s that roha will be endgame ,roha's story is so underrated i feel this show actually deserves so much more then it has

Ansh as Rocky is phenomenal. He manages to take the done to death trope of bigda-hua-punjabi-launday ka coming of age story and gives it an altogether different spin .. that makes it seem less banal that Gul's usual BS ... all thanks to the actor who according to Jasmin is a performer par excellence. Rocky is what did it for me.

Happy as the bubbly, chirpy punjabi girl .. fumbling around .. trying to find her way in life ... is every Gul Khan heroine ever, because If there's something Gul excels at .. it's at repeating her cliches. Except ... Jasmin is a breath of fresh air .. and adds spunk and sass to an otherwise ghissa-pita role. I adore her.

RV ... is as you pointed out .. a hypocrite and I honestly cant be bothered with him. I forward all his scenes unless Rocky is thrashing him in it ..and Sanya . Yeah I forward her scenes as well. Her trying to channel femme fatale makes me want to drive a rusty fork thru my eyeballs.
