Manikarnika is an awesome film there are no two doubts on that..

but there's no doubt either it could have been a much much better film.

there are few weak instances that prevented to become a masterpiece.. one is her capture of gwalior where she practically does nothing instead of some heavy dialoguebaazi and second the finale battle which is really one-sided where infact RANI LAKSHMI BAI fought really hard and gave the britishers a run of their lives for two days..it's only third day they managed to overpower her with their armies of camels..this instance is depicted well in old jhansi ki rani movie...

still having said that, kangana should be lauded for bringing the tale of lakshmi bai for the younger audiences
