Well everything about today's episode was fine. But making Hanuman cut onions and that too in public didn't sit quite well with me.
I won't say that men cutting onions and all that is shameful or inferior but he's a feared and respected police officer in the area.

Reducing his stature to the equivalent of a chef in public would put him in an inferior light.

Previously, during the tikki competition he did the cutting within the confines of his house, that's ok. But in public? 😲

He is portrayed to be a very decent, helpful man but he never lets anything affect his pride of being a police officer, especially in public. He was shown to be very conscious of his macho image in public.

Even before Babita asks his help to stitch Minnie's clothes, he was very clear and particular that he won't let the public know that Hanuman Singh helped a WOMAN to stitch a cloth and told her not to expect any help.

Only when Babita tells that people won't know what's happening inside the house did he somewhat felt convinced to help her.

My doubt is will his pride and image not be affected if he cuts onions in public that too for two women who aren't his family by blood?

I agree He, Babita and Minnie do not care much about what the society thinks of their choices and decisions but is it easy to live in a community antagonising with your neighbours in everything?

Should we take this as a sign of PB losing its realistic approach and a slip by the CVs in Hanuman's portrayal to glorify Babita and Minnie?

Is this gonna continue and should we witness our Dear Hanuman's character assassination??😲

I am sorry but that's not the topic of discussion here. It's about a scene in the latest episode of PB that I wasn't happy about.
You're most welcome to comment on this if you've watched the latest episode.

haven't seen epi yet but remember when preet's mother came few days back , while shouting on babita , minni & preet we saw how she she misbehaved with him .
somehow i felt it to be bit unrealistic , ignoring him would be ok but making such remarks on police officer is unacceptable .

Since I don't have TV as I am away from home, I watch the episodes on SonyLIV website. Sadly, every new episode gets uploaded at around 11 or 11:30 pm IST.
You can watch there if you want to watch it on the same day of telecast.

Anyways, you too have a point there. But still, in CV's defence, I would say that Preet's mother insulted him within his house. As long as things are within the confines of his house, it's better.

But in today's episode, he did it out of his volition. Preet's mother was not aware of his ideologies and image consciousness but how did Hanuman forget about his own image in public?

All I can say is that I don't want PB to join the typical mahaan Bharatiya naari bandwagon.

I don't see how chopping onions would hurt his pride or make him appear any less of a man. When living alone surely he did this when he needed to cook for himself? Anyways PB is about pushing boundaries yes so perhaps him doing so is meant to portray that it's not a feminine job and it doesn't make you any less of a man. There are plenty male chefs? I appreciate he's a policeman but policemen eat too? I see nothing degrading in what he's done, if anything to me it makes him even more of a man in my eyes that he's okay doing what usually wrongly perceived to be a "women's job

Feared officer?
He is constantly taunted by Khatri and his gang...he doesn't get a lot of respect for being a Sr police officer...even Khatris wife goes off on him with little fear
