She was leaving right after all the stuff he told her in the kitchen.

And yes he did too. He was going to break the engagement if her father didn't go and apologize to his mother.

She didn't demand explicitly but uske mann mein yahi tha, I know it. 😆

As soon as Sam promised he will not fight again she stayed with him. Did she promise anything? No.

And at the time of engagement fiasco even she was ready to break the alliance so they scored a tie there. 😉
