Sudha opts to walk out

Veteran classical dancer and actress Sudha Chandran has had a long association with the queen of daily soaps, Ekta Kapoor. She has been playing some pivotal roles in Ekta's K-factor serials, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kuchh Is Tarah since quite a long time.

While Sudha makes a comeback in Kyunki… after a small disappearing act, she has also made an intriguing exit from Kuchh is Tarah where she has been replaced by Anju Mahendru. Now the reason for leaving Kuchh sounds rather convoluted.

We ask Sudha about her decision and she admits, "Yes I have left Kuchh… as I was not happy with the way my character was shaping up. People usually blame Ekta for any of her actor's or actress' exit and I would request people not to think along those lines. I have no issues with her or else why would I comeback in Kyunki… I am happy with my character ACP Ragini in this serial was not interested to continue as Mallika in Kuchh… as it was not developing in the right way."

Chandran sure has turned into one hell of a diplomat. She has no choice, we guess!
