Bcz he survived without major injuries, police counters that he should have tried and get killed instead of just being beaten and let things happened to her.

The police question his character, tries to blame the incident on him when a accused says that they get provoked by seeing guy and girl doing some normal Pda things, keeps him out of loop and eventually him giving interview on media channel.

Based on case files doesn't mean you valorise the police so much and make the whole show about them. I watched it to know how the tragedy unfolded and the aftermath. What I got was unabashed glorification of the police and little else.

To each their own.
