Kuhu is adopted?

I thought Mishti was adopted but the way Kuhu was reacting earlier, I thought she was the born daughter of the family. Can someone please clarify why Mrs. Parekh said that like Kuhu did you adopt Mishti as well?

Kuhu is Shaurya's daughter with another woman and Varsha knows that fully well.

Varsha has accepted Kuhu and treats her like her own daughter.

The problem is since Kuhu is Shauraya's daughter with another woman, they could not tell the world this truth, may be for the world they had made it appear Kuhu is adopted.

Kuhu seems don't remember much about her early life before she came to live with Singhania and Maheshwari family. May be she too thinks she is adopted but do feels it is only her right to get the love of the family. But this is clear though she has no idea she is illegitimate child. Whether she thinks Varsha and Shauraya is her real parents or they have adopted her as their child. If the later is the case she might not know Shauraya is her biological father...If the first is the case she might not know Varsha is not her biological mother .I just can't believe she thinks Varsha her mother since in child she did carry her biological mother's photo with her.

CVs really need to give clear picture.
