I was underwhelmed with "Badhai Ho" as a movie ... storyline wasn't as impressive as the hype that was created! ... But when it comes to acting, all of them did justice to their roles including Sanya and her mother! ... As a movie I found it overrated ... but when it comes to acting .. No!

They were absolutely flawless and authentic.

The real reason is that there are many many character/supporting actors who have given equally good performances for decades but never got any recognition.

Now that people like Gajraj and Surekha are finally getting their due, people have a problem. I liked Neena Gupta too in the film btw, just that it wasn't such a difficult role IMO.

Surekha Sikri was anything but overrated in the movie.. IMO she was the star of the entire movie.. she performed her role to literally perfection.
