Badhai Ho Cast - Overrated?

Dont get me wrong that Gajirao guy, Neena Gupta, Surekha were very good in their respective roles. But...were they really that good that they should win awards? I did not find anything astounding about their performance? Why are we acting as if they discovered water on the the moon or something?

given your track record when it comes to judging acting skills, I am glad you didn't found them good enough to win awards😆.

I have heard anushka in Paris was also good. People forgot padman, hichki. These awards are worthless.

I am not saying they were bad or anything but I dont think they were award worthy performances?

I will never understand how an industry can overhype such actors so much while ignoring Rani in Hichki which IMO was the performance of the year!

Why do these non-star actors have to be so exceptional to win awards when mediocre ones like that of Ranveer in Padmaavat and Ranbir in Sanju won the main awards? Just because they're stars they get a free pass and other mere mortals should never be able to level up?

While Neena wasn't exactly that great, but anyone who questions Gajraj and Surekha don't know anything about acting IMO.
They were absolutely flawless and authentic.

Performances in badhai ho were very natural, as if there were characters around our neighbourhood.
That was one of the strongest reason due to which the movie was successful too.

i'm really sure that if the film had done average business, and wouldn't have won nominations or awards, u wouldn't even care to open this topic..the film worked on merit and solid content.
