And coming to Deepika being famous .Yes Deepika is famous hence the movie will attract viewers thus directing attention towards the survivors and help them in some way . Here don't see it as a commercial product. It is a commercial product no doubt but it is for a cause and if they are using a popular person for spreading awareness therie isnothing wrong .

Everything seems to be offensive to everyone. It is their story, y wud they find it offensive. They feel proud that their fighting with life is going o be shown. It is not for sympathy. It is her bravery and never ending hope. It is an ode to her.

They should have casted a real acid attack survivor to showcase their struggles instead of doing heavy make up to Deepika. Atleast it would have looked better.

That wud be the real abuse. Real commercializing and cashing on them.

Why offensive?! ... Isn't Laxmi just as involved in the project .. I am sure so are many other acid victims ... they may want their stories to be heard, hence this movie! .. Once trailer is released, then only we can debate whether the subject matter has been handled sensibly or not .. to early to say anything!

Yeah. It is offensive - Only to Deepika Haters.

Bcoz everyone is loving the look and appreciating that she has taken such a subject . What better way to use your Stardom than to draw attention to such issues?

How the heck is the first look offensive? They Are gonna show the acid survivors life before the incident. How will they show it using them? And its not a documentary like Sachins. Its a movie. They need actors. The dislike for the actor is totally showing in the comment by some members

Scary? Well...the only thing that induced fear in me is the terribly dark world of male patriarchy that a survivor's scarred face tells you about. This movie isn't a romantic fairy-tale but a mirror of the world we are living in. This movie is inspirational...but it's also meant to shake your psyche.

If Alia is signed I will ridicule it

Dear Zindagi already exists.

😆😆

Hatred can make people make a fool of themselves. I am curious how that member reacted to Dear Zindagi. Also, if this same movie is signed by kangu, she will be over moon 😆
