Part 4

A couple of days later

It was lunch break, everyone went to have their lunch. Geet was coming back after having her lunch. As she reached her class, she heard the girls talking. She didn't mean to eavesdrop, but the mention if his name compelled her to listen.

" I think something is going on between maan & pari!!" One of the girls spoke.

" Pari ka toh sab ko pata hai yaar...she is totally flat on him! She keeps hitting on him...all the time! " Another one spoke.

" But maan ka aisa kuch nahi lagta mujhe... Wo toh usse normally baat karta hai.. Like he talks to everyone else... In his most charming way.. " The girl gave a naughty wink.

"Han... But he doesn't appose her advances also.... So it only means that he too is interested in her....right??" The first one replied.

"Zaruri nahi.... "

And They continued more on the topic... But geet moved back out of the class... She didn't need to hear anymore...she stayed out, and went in only when rest of the students came back.

She was surprised on the hurt that she felt hearing that gossip.

Why was she hurt now?? Didn't she already had this idea about them?

They have exchanged phone numbers, they might as well be having those long chat/call sessions daily too.

"Class me toh sara din wo pari uske aas paas udti rahti hai hi... Phone call pe toh jaane kitni baatein karte honge...aur koi disturb karne wala bhi nahi."

Oww that hurt 🥺 Geet overhears some gossip about Maan and Pari. But she didn’t anticipate the hurt this would cause her. I’m wondering what is the truth and waiting eagerly for Maan’s version. Hope to get an update soon
