A week later..
In the classroom..
It was the last period of the day for 9th standard and to their extreme luck..it was an off period as their teacher was on leave and no subtitute was available...thus the whole class was enjoying the free period they have got. Most of them were busy chatting away with their friends.
While our geet prefered to just sit and obsrev them... to be precise... observ a certain someone...with very knee interest. She would glance around time to time..making sure that none knew about her little secreat..pretending that she was just casually looking around...but offcorse the truth was completely opposite of it!
She kept looking at him as he laughed with his friends, on some joke. And her already smittened heart was dead.. falling all over again for him... "haaye...haste hue kitna sona lagta hai..!" ..her heart said... A shy smile appeared on her lips as she continued admiring him & his smiling face.
Geet handa was drooling over her first ever "real & serious crush"..who happened to be her classmate too.
She couldnt stop herself from staring at him...it was like she couldnt get enough of him.
The more she looks at him...the more she wanted to keep staring at him and never want to move her gaze away from his handsome face. Everything about him felt so special to her...the way he talks..the way he laughs..his attitute..his charming smile..everything..his every gesture seems facinating to her and attracted her to him.
She was lost in her drooling session..but soon her tarnce broke and the drooling session turned into glaring session as she saw him talking to some of the girls from their class.
Instantly, an extream feel of jelousy hit her hard..as she notice that how comfertably he was chatting away with those stupid girls..who just looks for a chance to flirt with him always!
"sabse baat kar sakta hai... Bas ek mujhse baat karne me hi takleef hoti hai isse...duffer kahin ka.." ..she twisted her lips in annoyance.
"really...are u sure.. ke ye usska fault hai..??" ..her heart taunted...which she chose to ignore like always...and turned her face away from him.
But how long she could have ignored him..? Specially when it has become a habit for her eyes to look for him every now & then. So, soon enough she again turned his way and got lost in him. Wishing in her heart that it should be her talking to him instead of those stupid girls.
She rushed back home after school finished. She rang the bell and her little brother opened the door. She straight went to her room to change. When she came back in the living room, after changing..she saw her brother who was watching some cartoons while her mum was sleeping in her room as it was time for her afternoon nap.
She joined her brother who called her in excitment, telling about his fav cartoon & its adventourous tales. She always loves to hear his cute talks. Now also she was enjoying it but at the same time, there was a little restlessness in her heart which was distracting her.
Soon it was time for her brother's tution classes and he left..saying a quick bye & giving a kiss on her cheeks.. Which made her smile at his cuteness.
She sat there alone, in the living room...praying to her babaji in her heart. She picked up the land line reciver and dailed his number, while making sure that her mum was still sleeping. She waited petiently for him to pick up...while her heart was going crazy with the anticipation of hearing his voice.
In next few rings the phone was answered..but to her utter disappointment..it wasnt him..instead it was some lady who have answered the phone..may be his mom..? And she cut the call sadly.
"why didnt he picked up the phone?" .. " ab tak toh ghar pahunch gaya hoga naa.." .. "fir usne kyun nahi uthaya..?" ..."hamesha toh woh hi utha tha hai..?"
all these thoughts increased her restlessness all the more. She couldnt sit peacefully with those questions...so she tried again.
But no luck..as again that same lady answered the call.
Though Geet was feeling very much scared of being caught by her mum... But she needed to hear him once..or else that restless feeling wont be leaving her heart in peace today.
And she made the call for the third time.
Her restless heart finally clamed down when she heard his voice.. "hello..?"
without her realising..a beautiful smile came on her lips ..and her heartbeats rose hearing his voice so close..
She wanted to say so much..wanted to complain to him that why didnt he picked up last two calls..but she couldnt.. She didnt have that much courage..
The call was still on and he was waiting to know who was calling..when she heard someone asked him.."kiska phone hai maan..?"
and she cut the call instantly!
