He just did 2 historical movies..so its not like all his movies have been historicals that audiences would be bored. Nandamuri Tarakarama Rao was famous for portraying mythological and historicals his filmography aas filled with them and probably is a pioneer in whole if India to play such characters but audiences were never bored of him..instead they revered him and many actually idolized and worshipped him literally for playing those characters so beautifully. So its not a folly but an achievement for Ranveer that he is hailed as a historicals specialist with just two movies.

Though I have only seen Bajirao. But still, just the promos of the others tired me out. Didn't have to watch them.😆😆😆

He only did two till date and both were poles apart in terms of characterisations. Maybe if he does the same kind of roles it may get boring. But same genre I don't think that will be a problem. Besides like everyone said he mixes them up with others genres too in between. Why should he not cash on something that has become his USP. But yeah SLB is getting boring with his repetitive styles.

Nope. Only because his roles maybe historical but they aren't of the same vein ever. Bajirao and Khilji were as far removed from one another as possible. And now Dara is supposed to be far far different from Khilji. As long as he doesnt play characters having similar mannerisms its fine with me. On my wish list is him playing Shirajudaullah in his lifebased bong-historical and the battle of Plassey. Wanna see him play the Nawab of Bengal.
