Similarities between Kundali Bhagya and Chal Mere Bhai

Something just struck me. The plot line is very similar to the Salman Khan-Karisma Kapoor- Sanjay Dutt movie Chal Mere Bhai. Both the brothers are in love with Karisma Kapoor. However, Karisma falls in love with the younger care-free, free spirited Salman Khan. Salman who later finds out about his older brother's feelings decides to sacrifice his love. However Sanjay Dutt learns that Karisma has always loved Salman and decides to unite them.

Well does this ring a bell?

The masala late 80's to early 2000s are fraught with these kind of movies..Pyar koi khel ni..diklagi..chal mere Bhai..etc..where a reserve serious elder brother love his employee/nurse/xyz/friend..but that girl falls for younger carefree free spirited brother..and then for elder brother the younger brother start showing fake flirt with other girls..but in the end everything fall in place...Indian serials are not full of talented writers .these guys are brought up with the dose of these kind of movies..Mills and boon novels and other stuff..so they tend to follow a predictable storyline...I think probably someone who has absolutely no exposure to India films or tv industry..or is from another planet can't deduce even before the release of Kundalini bhagya that preeta will fall for carefree Karan and the serial will not exactly be a traingular love story but more likely a reserved responsible elder brother one sided love for preeta. And see what has happened after 2 years.

The only movie where i have seen a proper realistic take on this is a malayalam one where

Well hopefully they don't screw around with the story line too much. I know I am being a little too optimistic, but I hope common sense prevails!

Yeah all those bollywood movies revolved around such triangles and then sacrifices...beside..Has anyone watched monday's precapp...yrr its kinda scary

Actually the precap is misleading. Preeta must have seen Karan and Tanvi together again and got jealous. Out of curiosity must have asked Rishabh about his opinion. When he praised Tanvi she must have thought that even Karan thinks that Tanvi is pretty etc etc and must have got furious.

I hope Karan doesn't misunderstand this. And honestly I think the makers can use Tanvi to help both Preeta and Shrishti realise that they are in love with Karan and Sameer.

But according to our previous experiences i think when karan is gonna ask him who is that girl who got jealous rishab will first say preeta ji and then seeing karan's reaction and realizing what he had said he will cover up saying sherlyn😆

Lol ya and then make some bahana. I think Karan will get an idea from the situation to make Preeta jealous 😆
