Hi,
Can I suggest something? This is a good initiative but in my perspective, there is no point asking to ban this show. Because this isn't and won't be the first and last show to portray and romanticise violence against female lead. Even if this show goes off air, there may still be another similar show in the future. Instead of asking to ban show, can we broaden the scope of this petition and request for the Indian Broadcasting Federation to implement stricter regulations on ITV against regressive content such as promoting violence against woman, children abuse, superstitions etc? This would help to rid ITV of its evils in the long-term and this intervention is greatly needed.
Thankyou for taking this intiative.I have also complained, let's see what happens.Few weeks back I saw a promo of some zee show called raabta where the male lead has tied FL to his jeep and was dragging her like animal and even put a big rock on her feet and sadly that show topped charts last week and coincidentally that show is also made by female.
