Mumbai, March 4: Taking a fearless and wide dig at the immature and compromised approach of Bollytards, actress Kangana Ranaut claimed that actors who shy away from politics are being irresponsible citizens and role models to the youth.

Ranaut was addressing the media on the occasion of success party of her recent hit Manikarnika, where she played the lead role portraying Jhansi's Rani Lakshmi Bai. Turning her character for real, she said that if talking about politics can hamper my career then let it be. "I also have regular supply of water and electricity at my home but that doesn't mean that I will not talk about other issues. This has to change and the media should change that, she added cornering actor Ranbir Kapoor specifically.

"Even if you work in a film industry, you have to be responsible. I heard an actor denying to talk about politics claiming that he had all the luxurious facilities available. I wan't to clear here that we are here because of the nation. It is the citizen's money that we use to fulfil our luxurious needs, she said.

Raising the spirit of India first in every artist the actress said, "Any veteran should not deny talking of the politics as it is the part within. In the tune to keep up the better relations with everyone, one cannot hold on the thoughts to maintain the carrier graphs aligned.

"This is a democratic nation and we as actors should talk about the work done in the past five years. Discussing this will aid us choosing a better and functional leader for our nation. We need to talk about the political inclinations as a responsible youth. People giving more preference to their careers than that to the nation, need to definitely change their attitude, she slammed further.
