Because, for sure, in SOME of these roles she was not properly cast/ looked totally miscast.

So another actress that was (probably) removed to make space for her- due to KJo and the Bhatt's pull- might have done a MUCH better role.. and the movie MIGHT have done even better - artistically and financiially.
Alia had two flops and the rest of the movies aren't THAT BIG in BO. Just saying, another actress might have created Blockbusters with the same movies. She hasn't got one movie over 130 cr..and that just now with Gully Boy- so thanks mainly to Ranveer...
But how can we know when KJo is running left, right and center, taking roles from, under anyone'seyes?
When you have QUALITY writing and directing, even mediocre actors can do good.
Just imagine ANOTHER.. a GOOD actress doing the roles. What a great movie could have been? Besides Udta Punjab.. and maybe now Gully Boy.. I didn't really see anythiung much in Alia TBH.

you really think it was not possible for her to get a 200cr 300cr movie..have you seen the status of actresses in those clubs..not even in top ten..parineeti for eg has a 200cr movie golmaal which did 0 to her..

it is not about 200cr 300cr..but how much you contributed to it

almost all her movies had her contributing as much as her male stars who happen to be of her own generation..whether a 2 states making 102cr..humpty..badri..she was as much a factor as them..and raazi is the second highest women centric movie in terms of collections..this is what defines a star..not some 300cr movie where you are standing like a furniture..anyone can get that with a much senior superstar doing the heavy lifting
