Total Dhamaal, the crazy adventure comedy with ensemble cast of Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Arsad Warsi etc., hit the the theatre on 22th February, 2019. The film registered a decent occupancy of 35% on Saturday in single screen as well as multi-screens.

Total Dhamaal saw good jump on Saturday. It collected around Rs. 20.40 Crore on 2nd day and took its lifetime box office collection to Rs. 36.90 Crore from 3700 Screen Count in India. The film has also made a great business in overseas market. It collected around Rs.17 Crore in overseas so far and took its worldwide collection to Rs. 61.25 Crore. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film received mixed reviews from critics. Total Dhamaal is the 2nd highest opener of the year. It is also highet opener for its franchise surpassing Dhamaal with opening of Rs. 2.38 in 2007 and Double Dhamaal with opening of Rs. 7.62 Crore in 2011. Total Dhamaal collecting is expected to grow on Saturday and Sunday. It likely to cross Rs. 60 Crore in the opening weekend.

It's so laughable that people on are not giving Ajay any credit for making this film successful instead they give him credit for producing this movie. Madhuri Dixit & Anil Kapoor can be given credit as their pairing has grabbed audiences into theatres but its Ajay who is carrying this film in terms of BO.

Ajay is the biggest star out the cast and has pulled masses to watching this movie. That's why the film is houseful in single screen like Gujarat and Rajasthan where Ajay has a mass following in those areas.
