Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its latest smartphone, the Redmi Note 7. The company has been in an overdrive mode when it comes to creating a buzz around the product. Xiaomi has never gone out all guns blazing like this for any other device. In addition to posting teasers on social media and other channels, it now appears it's roping in one of the top actors for the Redmi Note 7. As per a teaser video, Ranveer Singh will be associated with Xiaomi for the Redmi Note 7. Singh posted it on his Instagram handle with the hashtag #7daystogo.
In the video, Singh is in his typical bundles of energy mode, dancing around on LMFAO's popular song, "Sexy and I know it. Not just that he is seen holding what looks like a Xiaomi phone. If that doesn't give us enough hints, then one can spot Xiaomi carry bags at least on three occasions in the video.
Just before the video ends, Singh gets a call from Manu Kumar Jain, managing director, Xiaomi India. Singh answers the call and says "My main man Manu. Singh goes on to say, "Yeah, we are on, on like Donkey Kong. Singh ends the call with the biggest hint of coming on board with Xiaomi as he says, "Yeah, you got me, twice. The video ends with the message, "7 days to go. Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 7 on February 28 at a scheduled event.
In the past as well Xiaomi has roped in Bollywood actors for its smartphones. Katrina Kaif was part of campaigns for Xiaomi Redmi Y series of smartphones. This will be the first biggest launch from Xiaomi and 2019 and it looks like the brand is leaving no stone unturned with Singh coming aboard to promote its latest smartphone
