This is a scenario with lots of possibilities.Hypothetically, If sameer would not have inherited wealth obviously this marriage would have taken place after graduation and with lots of difficulties. I think CVs went easy on this route , so they added different silly dramas to the wedding..😔
And Naina would not have gone ahead with sameer if chacha had a different opinion surely. that's a given fact. that's how her character has been built. Going against family is not in her trait. she is not a rebel. and thats a different story althogether which we all have braved thru.😃
But as Appukrish says, destiny had different plans for them.
Fortunately they are together. there will be hardships ahead for sure. it isn't gonna be easy to survive only on inherited wealth for both..not surely long.. so lets enjoy their union for now❤️

Let's take a step back and just be happy for Naina.

So let's just be happy for Naina and Sameer and see what life has in store for them for the future.

I personally want Sameer & Naina to be happy. For me this topic was just an imaginary situation of what if it would be like... if you ask me this quote should go to the makes & storywriters of this show. They are the ones who don't want Sameer & Naina to be happy so easily. Otherwise why so much unnecessary drama - at least let them have a happy wedding for God's sakes.

By the way Sameer going out of the way to please Naina, Sameer doing this & that against all odds just so that Naina's wishes are fulfilled is actually getting too repetitive in the storyline, don't you think? Relationships are more than one partner perpetually trying to please the other one - but that is entirely different topic.

No offense anyone - I am very open to criticisms.

Ritu

Believe me I am also tired of so much drama in all the rituals of their wedding. I was ok that all the rituals would get dragged for few episodes, after all leads wedding it is. But why every function should have MM taunting? It's not just Naina now they taunt Sameer also so much.
I am hoping this only leads to Vishakha losing her cool. Because Sameer is so done fighting with them and also going forward Samaina will do rituals together so Naina will stop Sameer from reacting. Unless it comes from V, MM will not stop their cheap behavior!

Why do they need to show obstacles at every step ?
The makers can show so much of S and N even if they are not in the same place and same frame.

About your 2nd paragraph. It's Sameer's interest and wish to fulfil all Naina's wishes. And the wishes are not such that he can't go around it. I believe Naina will understand if he explained which he doesn't.
And earlier it has been Naina who has fulfilled all his wishes be it attending his birthday or going to movie or her birthday outing. She did tell Anand to serve Frootli upon Sameer's insistence. She has also done so much for him yaar.
So I don't think it's been one sided.

Yes I will say this that Sameer is being made Mahaan by solving all of Naina's problems. And she is not asking him. It's his interest and his emotional nature that is making him do it. And that is fine. In the process he is gaining everyone's love on Agarwals side and now even his Mom is understanding him better I think.
Touch wood warna when she changes color you never know :)

Discussing what's happening now is fine. My point was why discuss the past which could have n' number of possibilities and for that we have these FF, OS, TS etcc by our wonderful forum story writers, where we see different story lines being narrated. What do you think?

Hi Appukrish,

All your points taken and all are valid in their own way. I loved all of it.

I live in the US and don't watch Hindi shows. When my mom came to the US to visit, I ordered her the Hindi Package because she does not understand English. During her stay I watched so many crappy Hindi shows with her that I thought I would go mad- just when she was returning back this show came. Being a 90s teen I was so fascinated by its concept and its very authentic treatment of the era, that even when she returned back home I kept the Hindi package just to watch this show.

I actually joined this forum because I felt so perplexed (in the negative way) by the way Samaina's make up was shown after Naina's marriage falls apart and I felt the need to vent out my dissatisfaction. There are other platforms too but I felt here you could write longer and express better. Also there was something I read here about that break up which totally compelled me to join. Since then I have only seen the show going downhill for me. I still watch it because my loyalty to this show is latched to the very beautiful and nostalgic beginning it got. I barely read FF, OS, TS etc. because it is not my thing as it is the writers' original stories and imaginations most of the time and I am more interested in debating the actual content of YUDKBH and what it could have been.

You are right there is no point in discussing what could have been because neither you nor me or any other fan can change the past narrative of the show but don't you think it will be unfair to say don't discuss it either?

This discussion is relevant. Whilst some people in the forum would want to focus only on the events in the show, others who are more cerebral would want to discuss hypothetical, moral and ethical issues raised in the show, particularly when the current track does not provide intellectual stimulation. Discussion should be allowed and encouraged. Let all views be expressed.
