Hi Shilpa, I missed you.
True, if Sameer was not from a wealthy family and had no inheritance, the situation would be different. He would have been a different person. The arrogance, over confidence, rudeness would not have been as pronounced as it is now. He would have learnt to be more responsible.
Anand would not have been so ready to accept the relationship nor would he have agreed to the marriage without some form of financial security. Let's not forget he is a CA, money matters to him.
Naina and Sameer may still have tried to force the issue but the ease with which the marriage is being facilitated would not have happened.
Naina is above all practical. She too belonging to a middle class family would then have encouraged Sameer to get a job and ensure some kind of financial stability. She would have needed to feel that her future is secured. The marriage may not have happened as fast if at all.
If however, the izzat issue arose then they would have married but the family would have had to carry the brudne of their support. They both would have been forced to leave college as well. Alternatively, what happened to Meghnabhen, Shefali and Arjun would have happened to Naina. Naina would have been sent to a distant relative or married off to ensure her financial security. Being the 90s, she would have protested, but ultimately married and lived, ultimately to even love her husband. Sameer would have become a distant memory.
