Whether it's Cocktail or Piku or CE, Deepika has a lot of charm and expression in her eyes that translate well onscreen. I realize some people don't like her acting, but I think she is talented and versatile. I just wish she would do more movies. To each their own, I guess!

i think deepika is going to give her best performance in chapaak, i know its early for me to say that, but i just hav a big feeling its going to be a strong performance, coz of the role she has to play of an acid attack survivor, its going to be a role where deepika will have to pull out every emotion, its going to be her most challenging role, and i think she will pull it off

and if she does pull it off, then she is gonna sweep all the awards next year, coz i can't think of any other actress who is doing a role this year as challenging as the one Deepika is doing

I personally don't like her acting and sometimes don't understand the praises but I liked her in Tamasha. And there must be something there seeing the way people love watching her onscreen.

I have been a huge fan of her from OSO itself. Bad movie choices in between but post cocktail her every performance was very good. Especially CE, Tamasha and Piku. Unlike many others here on IF, I found her performance in Padmaavat quite decent even if her screen time was less.

Loved her in Tamasha. Thought she was good in CE, Piku, even Ram Leela and YJHD. Bajirao and Padmavati were so-so. Since Cocktail no performance of her's has been very poor, probably just Race 2 and Happy New Year (though she and Abhishek were the only tolerable ones in the movie). Overall I like her as an actress. She's not as good as PC, Vidya, Tabu but she's probably the best out of her contemporaries like Anushka, Sonam etc.

I think she is pretty limited but she is very charming and beautiful. She has amazing screen presence as well. If I were to compare her to others I would say she's better than Kat but worse than Anushka.
