Part 20

Ishita's sleep broke when she felt that she can't wait anymore and had to use washroom . She was in hapf sleep from long time as she dont wanted to woke ,being scared of the darkness and thundering . She slowly opened her eyes and got to know that the power has come and the room was bright . She got up happily and went to washroom ,completed her work then come back to room .She stood there for sometimes as she was deciding where to sleep in bed or couch as he had allowed her to sleep with him because it was dark . She thought for sometimes then smirked and spoke to herself
" I will sleep in bed only , how will he know that I was up in midnight . ".

Saying so she patted herself and climbed the bed , he was sleeping curling into himself as it was cold , she touched him and found his body was bit cold . Ishita covered him with blanket and slide beside him ,she went closer to him and closed her eyes resting her head on his arms, he encircled his arms and pulled her closer. Soon she drifted to sleep .

Next morning when ishita woke ,she find herself alone in the bed , she looked for Raman but he was nowhere . She went to check him downstairs and found him in kitchen . Ishita ran to kitchen and saw him making sandwiches, she panicked and asked " why didn't you woke me ".

R- you were in deep sleep so I didn't disturbed you .want some tea .

I- aapne banayi.?

R- ofcourse .

I- you should have wake me up , ok don't do anything further ,I will be back in sometimes after shower ,then I will make breakfast .

R- no need it's already done . I had made sandwiches and upma for you .

Ishita eyes widened in amusement and she asked " what did you made ".

R- sandwiches.

I- and .

R- upma , you are south Indian so you must he liking it .

I- yeah, I like it but you know to cook it .

R- I made it out of instant mix ,hops its good.

I- that was not needed , main bana leti , you just would had to woke me .you did somuch work , how can I sleep so late .

She spoke feeling guilty while Raman looked at her and spoke " what's the big deal ,main banaaun ya tum banaao.

I- matlab ,I m wife how can you cook if I m there .

Raman looked at ishita and asked " are you the same ishita, who married me just to take revenge from me for cheating your friend "

Ishita looked at him and answered in sad voice
" unfortunately yes".

R- then how come you think like old days people ,wife should cook, husband shouldn't do household works. Come on ishita the time has changed now women are fighting for equality and you are arguing over breakfast, it's just freaking breakfast . If you want tea then have it either go and freshen up , we have to leave got office too .

Ishita smiled and spoke " I can't miss tea made my chef Raman bhalla ".

Raman passed a cup to her and spoke signalling towards the flask " help yourself ".

Ishura poured tea for her and then for him too , both settled in the dinning chair and started sipping their tea, ishita had a sip and spoke " umm, I just say it's good ".

R- so what do you think , don't underestimate me ,I know to cook everything.

I- how come.

R- as it's only me and ma , I use to help ma in cooking and other works, sometimes ma was sick so I had to cook along . In this way I learnt everything .

I- that's great .

Soon ishita finished her tea and went to take bath while Raman talking to his mother about her arrival . Toshiji told them to go to office as she will return in afternoon, she also reminded him to go to airport to pick pummy and her family . Raman agreed to her and hung, the call after they had some more random talks. Ishira came out after dressing , they had their breakfast without any talk as Raman was busy in some calls while ishita was all busy on drooling over him . She was looking at him and was smiling like a teenage girl eyeing her crush . Raman completex his meal and went up to get ready for office while ishita cleaned the kitchen and did other works. After completing her work she went upstairs to take her purse and other things for office . Ishita without knocking barged the door and noticed he was only wearing a white shirt and was looking for suit to wear with it . The moment she opened the door , he took the towel around and spoke
" will you learn to knock before entering someone room ".

Ishita smiled naughtily and spoke " last time I checked it was my room too ".

R- will you turn around or will just stand there .

I- ohh yes .

Saying so she went out smiling fully while Raman too smiled a bit before pulling his pants up . Soon he got ready and called , ishita in , she grabbed her things and went moved out ,till he get ready . Soon both were on the way to their office ,both were feeling happy with eachother and smiling inwardly recalling the different in indents from last night till now ,they realised that they had come bit more closer than they were earlier . Soon they pulled out in front of the office , they walked in together without any hesitation as now they are together. Ishita stopped at her cubical while Raman went to his cabin. The day went normally ,after lunch time Raman called ishita and informed her that toshiji was calling her home while he will he going to receive the guest .He granted ishura a half day leave to go, she turned to leave when he asked " how are you going ".

I- will take a cab .

R- ok ,let me call cab for you .

Ishita smiled at him concern and spoke " I will manage , aap pareshaan mat ho ."

R- I know but still let me do .

Saying so he booked a Ola for her , she bud bye and left for home while Raman too left for airport after an hour . Ishura reaches home , toshiji told her to give a check to room and get it clean before the guest come then they have to prepare snacks and dinner too . She nodded and went to check the rooms ,got all the work done asap then both toshiji and ishita started preparing snacks and dinner . After sometimes toshiji told ishita to go and get ready as they must be coming anytime , though ishita denied saying she will go after the food is done but toshiji insisted, so she went to get ready . After a while she showed up in a navy and red anarkali suit , she had tied her hair in a nice braid ,had put the sindoor nicely in her partition and the mangalsutra was now dangling down her neck. Toshiji smiled fully seeing her in this altar and said " you look too beautiful like this , I wish you would dress daily like this .

They were still in kitchen when the door bell rang , ishira was going to open the door when the help went and opened it , Raman entered with the guests and called toshiji. She immediately came out and hugged pummy aunty , her kids and daughter inlaw ,touched toshiji's feet to take blessing . They all sat in the hall while ishita has started making the tea. She had thought that she will go out along with tea and snacks when she heard pummy aunty
" toshiji teri bahu kahaan hai , shaadi ke baad kabhi use na dekha na suna ,did she lives with you or not ".

T- why are you saying like this ,my daughter in law is right here ,with us . Let me call her .

Saying so toshiji called ishita's name ,she immediately put some sweets in the plate and came out along with sweets and water. She reached the hall and kept the tray on table, toshiji smiled widely and introduce her to everyone. She went to elders and rake their blessing while pummy aunty was just go on admiring ishita's beauty . Ishira got happy listening to it and looked at Raman who was also looking at her, she blushed feeling his gaze on her and went to kitchen while pummy joked " now I got it, why you people hide her from everyone ,she is such beautiful and good looking that you wanted to save her from all evil eyes . Ishita listened this from kitchen and got mixed feeling ,she hot happy listening to her praises but felt bad thinking how toshiji and Raman were ditching every function because of her . Soon the tea was ready she took the fritters and tea outside , placed them on the table and stood beside toshiji that's when she noticed that Raman was not there .

Ishita thought to check him in room and went upstairs , she saw him changing and entered the room ,he noticed her and spoke " can't you knock ever ".

I- nope .

R- waise why are you here ,you are suppose to be with guests .

I- humm ,I just came here to check you.

R- m I a kid that you came here to check on me .

I- actually I wanted to ask you something .

R- what ?

She looked at him ,then spoke getting bit shy " how m I looking ".

Raman smiled listening to her question and asked " you have come here to ask this to me ?".

I- yeah .

R- every body was praising you there that means you must be looking beautiful.

I- may be , but I want to listen it from my husband ,as he is most important for me .

She spoke looking into his eyes ,he too looked at her ,but shared an intense eyelock which was broken by toshiji's voice ,who was calling ishita. She told toshiji that she is coming then looked at Raman for her answer and say" please answer soon ,I have to go ".

Raman looked at her and spoke " beautiful ".

She blushed and left after giving a quick peck on his cheek.She ran out before he can register what has just happened , after he realised ,he touched the spot where she kissed and smiled ruffling his hair then went down .
