seriously, nobody would wish for a brother like that of babita...he might be concerned that babita might have to face condemnation from the society but he's more feared about what the society might think of babita's actions...he's clearly blind in seeing the trauma babita and mini are going through...siblings might fight but will never abandon in times of dire needs(except for some)...trying to reconcile with ashok ? not for once he was understanding the betrayal from ashok but he's thinking that babita's actions are wrong from a social viewpoint...he wouldnt want a daughter like babita...like who is he to decide whether he will have a daughter and whether she'll be like babita or not, i mean every child is a god's gift irrespective of the gender and they have to be raised right...really such an unsupportive brother...when babita needed him, he kicked her out and now he's giving a negative response despite babita still being warm and positive towards him...

Moreover he had the audacity to tell them to go and live in the Khurrana house and win back Ashok instead of holding on to their self-respect. He indirectly propagated all the dirty allegations that were being put on Babes despite her innocence.
