I don't understand why husband and wife cannot look at their careers separately and without having to bear the other's ego. It is so unfair. Ash is definitely getting bogged down by Abhishek's ego. If you can't succeed, at least don't pull your wife down with you. Like in HNY, Ash refused DP's role because Abhi was playing a sidey character.
