Chapter Seventy-Nine

'Ishita can you hear me...'' Said Abhimanyu

'I am petrified right now... What do I tell Raman? With Mihir... I just...'' She said sighing heavily

'I am sure he will understand just trust him...'' Said Abhimanyu

'I am not sure... I do not even know who to trust anymore...'' She said holding the temple of her head and she sat back

'You can trust me...'' He said to which she scoffed

'You still do not trust me I understand that, but I am working for Raman and my allegiance is with him. You know that...'' Said Abhimanyu

'Is that why you haven't told yet...'' She said

'Told him what...'' He asked as he looked in the rear-view mirror to his shook

'Whaaat...'' She said as she leaned forward looking in the driving mirror

'Seriously would it kill her to put on some make-up. How does she expect to seduce him when this face alone... Ahh she never learns anything?'' She said turning to Abhimanyu

'Take me to the mall first... I need to fix this face before we go meet hubby...'' She said

'I... I... Can't. She is supposed to be at the hotel...'' Said Abhimanyu

'I do not get why you act like you forgot. Ishita is married to Raman but I am married to Mihir... Remember... You were there so you should know...'' She added to which Abhimanyu just looked at her

She said laughing and Abhimanyu losing his mind removed his seat belt turned to her grabbing her by the throat

'Ohhh... You have spank...'' Said Ishita to which she started to laugh

'Oh please... Move...'' She said as she scratched Abhimanyu's face causing him to let go

'You can't hurt me even if you wanted to so bad. Raman... You stupidly care about him and he idiotically cares for Ishita...'' She said sitting up

'Ahhh now I must re-do my hair... Stupid asshole...'' She added and Abhimanyu just looked at her in disbelief

This was going to be a problem. Nikita's presence was going to be a big problem for a lot of people. She was unstable and feared nothing. This part of Ishita is what a lot of people feared because she was so unstable and unpredictable with little to fear.

'Hey... Yo... Take me to the mall...'' She said and he reluctantly started driving

Mihir had not seen or talked to Ishita since the incident at the hotel. He was worried about her but knew as much as he wanted to go to her and see if she was okay, he could not bring himself to do it. It was against the rules and he promised her.

He buried himself in work and had tried to do everything in his power to stay on track but them

'Mihir...'' He heard Shlok calling him only to turn and see him, Mrs. Arora together with someone he did not expect

'What are you doing here?'' He said

'We need to talk, in private...'' Said Mrs. Arora

'I do no think that is a good idea...'' Said Mihir but Shlok cut him off

'You are going to want to talk trust me...'' He said and he reluctantly led her to his office

'Why are you here...'' He asked

'This is about you...'' Said Mrs. Arora turning to the person she came with

'This woman showed up at my house with a very interesting story...'' he added

'I did not mean to cause any trouble I just want my daughter in law...'' He said

'Ms. Valdera ... You do not have a daughter in law...'' Said Mihir

'Yes, I do... Why are you keeping her away from me? You came and took her. Just because you married her doesn't mean she stopped being my daughter. I promised my son before he died that I would look after her so when she got sick, I thought you would help but you took her. You said you were going to get her better and then you took her'' She said and Mihir looked at her

Chapter Eighty

'Ms. Valdera, we talked about this...'' Mihir began

'Do not do that... Let the lady talk...'' Said Shlok

'This woman is ill... I am pretty sure you got her from a hospital where she was...'' Said Mihir

'So, you know her...'' Said Mrs. Arora

'Of course, I know her... My foundation is the one paying her medical bills...'' Said Mihir

'You know everyone your foundation sponsors from the back of your hand?'' Asked Shlok

'Yes... Because it is not a big foundation and not to mention those people are like my family...'' He said

'Well she says that apparently a man named Ratan married his daughter and ran away with her. Well of course I told her I do not know of any such person, but she insisted. She says she was at home and she saw me on tv with him.'' Said Mrs. Arora

Mihir felt his heart sink to his knees as he looked at Mrs. Arora trying to hide his anxiety, but he knew he was failing miserably. If Mrs. Arora found out who this woman was, everything else was going to fall apart. And this was not good especially to Ishita.

'So, you assumed she was talking about me?'' He said trying to sound calm

'Oh, I know she was talking about you. You are the only Ratan I have been on TV with of late. As you and I have a partnership with this hotel...'' She said

'Well I do not know what you think this proves but...'' Said Mihir

'Oh, cut the crap... Why does this woman think you and Ishita are a married couple?'' Said Shlok

'Not Ishita... Nikita...'' Said Ms. Valdera causing Shlok to turn

'What...'' He said

'My daughter... Her name is Nikita... I do not know why you keep on calling her Ishita...'' Said Ms. Valdera causing Mihir to smirk and look at them

'So, which is it...'' He said

'You are just going to continue being dumb. I anticipated this that is why I suggested that we do a little digging. I wanted to be respectful to her and help her find her daughter, you see. Then I found this really, strange story in this hospital in Goa that happened about 5 years ago that I could not believe... You see...'' She began and Mihir all the while just sat back and looked at her

'You know what... No... I will do this right... I do not want to cause any chaos and accuse you of things that you did not do so...'' She said getting up

'I will see you later...'' She added turning to Shlok and Ms. Valdera

'Let us do it right. See if you cannot find your daughter and he said he never married her, this is a missing case... Let us do it right...'' She said but Mihir never waivered and just watched them leave.

As soon as the door closed behind them, he grabbed his phone and called Pratik who a few minutes later came rushing in

'What...'' Said Pratik

'We have a problem...'' he said

'I gathered that...'' Said Pratik

'Ms. Valdera... She was here... With the Aroras...'' Said Mihir

'Wait... Which Valdera...'' Said Pratik

'How many do you know'' Said Mihir

'Why is she with the Arora... Why is she in Delhi... Why is she in India all together...'' Said Pratik

'I do not know... They were feeding me some cock and bull story about her showing up at their door step but that is utter bullshit...'' Said Mihir

'Yo... Nikita can't know she is here. You must do something... You told her that woman was the reason everything in Goa...'' Said Pratik

'You think I do not know that...'' Said Mihir snapping

'I mean you may have fallen for her later on, but you lied to her about everything... Seriously the reason she is even here in Delhi with Raman is because you planted ideas in her head that her ...'' Pratik began mumbling

'Shut the hell up, I know... I called you in here to get in touch with her Uncle... He and I need to talk... It is about time...'' Said Mihir

'What are you planning on doing...'' Said Pratik

'I need a backup plan first. I have a feeling Ms. Arora knows more than she is leading on... I need to be prepared'' Said Mihir

'Okay... You are the boss... What about Ms. Valdera, what about her...'' Said Pratik

'Figure out a way to get her the hell away from the Aroras and out of this country'' he said

'It won't be easy you know. Ms. Valdera is not someone you can just get rid of.'' Said Pratik

'Just do as I say...'' He said and Pratik left the room

Chapter Eighty One

In the lobby Ishita had just arrived and was making her way through to Mihir's office when she bumped into Shlok and Ms. Arora. They were standing there waiting on Ms. Valdera who had gone to the ladies' room. When Shlok turned and saw Ishita walking in, he turned away trying to hide her from the sight of Mrs. Arora, but it was too late.

'Mrs. Bhalla...'' She called but Ishita just walked ahead trying to ignore them

'Hey... Ishita... That's you...'' Said Abhimanyu

'Oh... Right...I am Ishita now'' She said turning

'Hello...'' She said

'Where is Raman?'' She asked

'I don't know. He and I aren't tied to the hip'' Said Ishita

'I was thinking of inviting you over to my house. Seeing as we clearly have a few things to settle...'' She said

'Why would I come your house?'' Said Ishita chuckling

'Excuse me'' Said Mrs. Arora

'I mean... I do not think there is any sane person in this world who would want to do anything with you let alone dine. Besides your problem is with Raman not me take it up with him'' Said Ishita turning to Abhimanyu

'Wow she is really, hard to like...'' She added and Mrs. Arora chuckled

'You think because he declared you in public as his wife it makes you better than me or the same status as me... You're still a village hobo that Raman and his family are using to get back at me...'' She said

'Ohhh it is so cute that you think you have status. You would be nothing without your husband. If you can have that because your married, why can't I?'' Said Ishita smiling

'Excuse me... Do you know who you are talking to? I will destroy you and that thing you call a son send you back to a place no one will find you or recognize you...'' She said angrily

'You know I was going to just leave and not cause trouble but since you called politely... I stood and said hello...'' She said causing Ms. Arora to frown a bit surprised at her

'See I swear, I was going to mind my business and do my own thing but this one makes it hard and not to mention...'' She turned to Shlok

'This one just gives me the urge to just create trouble...'' She added glaring at Shlok

Mrs. Arora looked at her a bit surprised at her behavior. She was normally quiet and never really talked back

'I Know you are beginning to understand what it means to be married to Raman but...'' Said Mrs. Arora

'Meaning what...'' She said

'The arrogance is starting to come through... Your true colors will soon revel themselves... For the gold digger that you are ...'' Said Mrs. Arora

'Okay listen you, old haggard heifer... I am not yours today... You are picking on the wrong one. Maybe if you tune in later you may find the one you want but right now, she is out of service... Try and insult me again and see what happens...'' Said Ishita stepping in front of Mrs. Arora

Mrs. Arora stepped back scared that she may hurt and Abhimanyu who knew this side of Ishita too well grabbed her hand and pulled her back

'Hey... Behave...'' he said

'I am sorry... She just has a face of someone who brings out the worst in people...'' Said Ishita sighing turning to Mrs. Arora

'I am sorry... Just don't call me names...'' She said much to Mrs. Arora's surprise

'Ishita...'' Shlok began

'Ooh you stopped being a human being to me the day you stabbed me... And I promise you I will revenge that... Just not today I am here to annoy someone else...'' She said turning as she walked away with Abhimanyu who was amused and worried at the same day

'This is going to be such a long day...'' He said

As Ishita turned to leave Ms. Valdera walked out making her way to where Shlok was and that is when she saw her

'Nikita...'' She called causing Ishita to stop walking and turn

'Oh My God how have you been... I thought something had happened to you...'' She said as she walked to where Ishita was wrapping her arms around her and Ishita almost instinctively did the same

'Just play along...'' whispered Ms. Valdera

Ms. Arora and Shlok looked at each other clearly elated because they knew they had discovered something brilliant. Abhimanyu just frowned a bit surprised that Ishita just fell for that so easily.

'Oh My God how have you been...'' Said Ishita

'Great... I take care of myself now... I even take my meds on time...'' She said

'Good for you... I am glad... You do look great you know...'' Said Ishita

'You too... I really missed you Nikita...'' She said

'I missed you too Mama...'' Said Ishita hugging her again

'So, you two know each other?'' Said Shlok confused

'I thought you said you were an orphan? Is lying a second language to you that you would even lie about you own mother?'' Said Mrs. Arora

'And I thought you said you classy... Is lying a second language to you...'' Said Ishita

'Excuse me...'' Said Mrs. Arora

'This poor woman has Alzheimer, I mean you must have known that when you yanked her out of a hospital... I do not understand what you would gain by using a clearly sick woman like her. She has memory lapse and for whatever reason she remembers me as her daughter... I love that she is sweet and kind, so I play along...Is that a crime...'' Said Ishita

'Really... Her daughter was called Nikita just like you...'' Said Shlok

'Wait... You want to claim amnesia as well... I am Ishita... Nikita, you killed... Or am I Nikita and Ishita is the one you killed...''She said chuckling

'Well even I get confused sometimes...'' She added turning to Ms. Valdera

'What are you doing here?'' Said Ishita

'Well I thought they kidnapped you?'' She said

'Why would you think that...'' Said Ishita

'This lady said that some man named Raman had taken you and was torturing you...'' She said

'Do I look tortured to you...'' Said Ishita smiling

'No... You're really, pretty ...'' She said causing Ishita to laugh
