First of all...
If someone asks me why I'm rooting for MauHaan, I have just for answer for them -
"ISHAAN"
Who is Ishaan?
A friend to Mauli. A father to a daughter who is not his flesh & blood .
He is Mauli's rock.
He's the one who has always put Mauli and her happiness above his own feelings.
He's the one who has loved her unconditionally for 6 years.
He's the one who keeps fighting for their relationship.
He's the one who treats her ex-in laws as his own family.
And today he's willing to put his feelings & insecurity aside to help a small child who wants her father to come back.
His unwavering support for Mauli, his selflessness, his purity, his love for her, his trust is what keeps me afloat on the MauHaan boat.
After everything Mauli went through. After the hurt, the betrayal, the insults, she deserved someone who would put her above everything, above everyone.
Ishaan isn't the one who Mauli dreams about, he isn't her great romantic love, but he is the one who Mauli deserves.
Ishaan is the medicine that Mauli needs. And no, not because Mauli can't live alone for the rest for her life. She is a strong independent woman who can live alone for the rest of her life, but as a person who has had her faith broken, her trust destroyed, she deserves to feel secure again, to know that there is someone out there, who will not break her heart.
This time, there will be a man who will protect & nurture the ability to trust that was taken from her.
Ishaan and Mauli coming together will be teach important life lessons to Mishti. It will tell her that you deserve respect and loyalty. That when you are a pure soul, there will be another soul out there, just as pure & pristine, who will come looking for you.
So Mauli, I know that you are not completely over your ex. You are confused about your feelings and feel conflicted, but for once think about the future. Think about what you deserve.
Ishaan is just like you. He has the same flaws as you. He is too trusting, he is selfless, he doesn't understand boundaries.
But he is the one for you.
Don't let go. Hold on to him, because not many people are fortunate enough to find a love that pure & selfless.
Once trust is broken in a relationship, that relationship is tainted forever.
You deserve better than a tainted relationship. You deserve better than you and your child being someone's second choice. You deserve better than being someone's back up option. You deserve better than a man who left you for another woman. You deserve better than a father who wished his unborn didn't exist. You deserve better than Kunal Malhotra.
So Mauli, hold on. Don't look back and embrace the happiness that life has presented to you. You and your child deserve being the centre of someone's universe.
