Agree and not.

Nowadays 'hero material' has changed from before.

And honestly neither did Aamir .. yet his acting surpasses most of the other actors in India.

Also, Junaid is TALL. That seems to help ( I see a lot of comments on newbies being: ' he is tall..he'll do well as hero') and his father maybe with TOH crashing will decide to take a backseat ( I don;t really believe it but, hey !) and promote his son instead.

What worries me most is his age (he's 27 AFAIK).. he has been getting ready to debut for years now.. that raises question mark...What took so long? when you have an Ishaan Khatter (and others) debuting at 21/22 and doing so well for himself.

Talent doesn't have age but the older one gets the harder it gets to ...debut..no?.

He's 25. Most actors debut around that age..Hrithik,Abhiseikh,Ranbir,Harshwardhan.

He did his Bachelors from HR and then did this Acting course Aamir is talking about and then did some theater in LA and then India..was reported to assist Aamir too so i guess he was preparing all this while.

He seems to be learning acting and not looking like a "hero" as Aamir said, maybe that's why hes not in designer stuff getting clicked away. He has his father to match up to..so i guess focusing on his acting skills is the intelligent/sensible thing to do

Okay.. thanks for clarifying his age..

Still others debuted younger.. and by the time he WILL BE in a movie he will be 26/27.. cause there's no movie, no filming yet.

Also, I am not against him.. I am just saying: it is worrying that there are all these delays.

Besides.. he does not .. network.. you don't see him at events and in shows.. He's not in the news..he's not getting the 'buzz' -if you wish.

Look at recent examples: Ishaan, Jhanvi, Sara (and others), all newbies were photographed and talked about WELL IN ADVANCE of their debut.. and that ..exposure helped with their movies being a success ( true, the movies/roles also had to be good).

Compare that with Hashvardan who ( like Junaid) was not seen much anywhere and has hardly any buzz...There were hardly any news on him..He got a BIg budget on his first movie yet it flopped. By now he's been in two movies and both flopped badly.

I don't think you get me. I wish Junaid well.

I just worry that either cause his dad is a control freak or he isn't 'into it' as much as he should be .. or not 'thirsty enough' to take risks and go for it... he might end up like Harsh, getting movie and getting flops.. then being written off.

Junaid can be way more handsome with a proper grooming, which surely he will get later on. Found an older pic, where he is looking charming enough and definitely he is a hero material if he can act well.😉
