R&D: The First Conversation

So technically today was the first time that Raghu and Dhanak had a proper conversation in front of each other, even if it involved a Raghu with his face all covered with foam. 😆

It's hilarious to see Raghu trying to hide from Dhanak, worried she'll see his face and recognize him while Dhanak is blissfully clueless about him for now. Lol

The ek cup shakkar Scene was quite cute. Lol I especially enjoyed it cuz it was the first time we got to see verbal banter between these two characters and actors and they have an easy chemistry. No stiffness.

On one end was a frazzled Raghu upending the kitchen to get her one cup of sugar and on the other end was a bemused Dhanak making amused quips about him mistaking aata for sugar. 😆

The role reversals continued with the quintessential trip catch except here we got Dhanak catching Raghu instead of the usual girl falling into guy's arms scenario 😆 😆. I really burst out laughing there for the visual of a Raghu all mesmerized as he looks up at her while she's the strong one holding him by the waist to support him. Haha and how cutely Raghu admittedly ki waise toh he's very strong, Bas aaj fisal gaya 😆

These two are cute 😆


I also loved the Raghu Aslam scene as usual with Raghu deciding he has to tell the truth to Dhanak and hope she forgives him cuz he can't hide his face in foam daily 😆.

There is just something quite endearing about how upfront Raghu is about what he thinks and feels. And I love the confidence in the way Dhanak carries herself. She's very assured in her body language.

First RagNak scene was super cute and hilarious at same time.

I am pretty impressed with both the actors in their scenes yesterday.It was so natural and i saw one or two of their offscreen IVs,i felt they looked quite comfortable with each other and i guess that reflected on the onscreen too.

The Trip ane fall role reversal scene made a strong symbolism that Dhanak and her profession is above Raghu's. So to make their characters look morally correct they went for role reversal. Everytime Raghu will go for DonGiri Dhanak will stop him and show correct path.

I am loving the episodes of Chawl Setup. Just wish to see more story of Don Savi and some dark past.

I'm really liking the chawl setup as well. Gives a refreshing look to the show cuz the location looks so natural rather than the typical house or mansion sets in every show.

And yes, I'd like to see more fleshing out of ST's character as well beyond just her busy celebrating her birthday. Lol

What i liked about the trip and catch scene was it was hilarious the way he jumped to help her but he himself fell into the arms of her
🤣.And upar se after that the beautiful background song ❤️.it elevated the whole scene and added so much feels to the scene eventhough they were subtle in theiir eye locks.

And when they first time face each other in his house,they didnt make it LLHH type i mean no hair flying of heroine blah blah like in other shows😆.She started laughing at him casually and the next scenes flowed naturally.And there is no awkwardness in Dhanak with heavy breathingwhen she realised she was holding him😆.I loved their subtle natural chemistry like you mentioned.

RD interactions and the leads acting are the USP of the show.So i think i can tolerate the other drama stuff in future.Lets see.I am loving their scenes so far.

Haha yes I was also expecting when she started slipping that he will be the one to catch her but lo and behold we actually got something FRESH for once 😆. The way they spun around and she ended up catching him and asking HIM if he's ok. Haha subtly but nicely done refreshing switch of gender roles.

Even later she just coolly takes the sugar and leaves. No extended OTT eyelocks or heavy breathing beyond that point so that was good :).

And yes, her laugh when she sees his foam covered face came out very naturally and sweetly. Cute bit nicely portrayed :).

Song was nice as well but I think I like the main portion of it more. Lol

rofl just finished watching totally mast epi i am liking the natural vibe and how comedy is sprinkled around so subtly and which is actually funny. this particular epi was genuinly funny right from the moment Goofball Raghu gets his foot stuck in the matka and then still kept walking due to the fear of dhanka😆 and then the rap song he made on the spot. 🤣

Word to everything, Fary :). It really was a feel good epi yesterday with the comedy moments incorporated nicely. This show has an old school vibe that's really connecting with me :)

Raghu-Aslam have such a natural chemistry together. I'm becoming a fan of their bromance. Would be nice to see them get some emotional bonding later in the story too.

I hope Aslam's Jodi is made with one of Dhanak's Sisters.
