Filmfare does voting now? Great now it's just going to be a popularity contest amongst stans, not that it wasn't before but it's more obvious now.

Bollywood award shows are a travesty. Everything is superficial- a reflection of the people who are the most powerful within the industry.

It always did. Not really voting though but nomination. You have to nominate for selected categories which is compiled together and then after taking 50% weightage here and the other 50 from jury, they bring out the nominations. And I think from that, the readers of Filmfare magazine usually vote for the popular awards. Not sure about that though. But this is strictly for nominations, not winners.

In T&C, it's mentioned that voting closes 25 Jan so probably end Jan or early Feb I guess.
